Let me guess, Bush's watch was stolen? Why do you guys keep repeating the same lies over and over again?
(Zahir Pajaziti, 6 February 2009 00:26)

But your kind (Albanian) keep repeating the same lie for the last 30 years, that Kosovo is Albanian. Thats the biggest lie there is and no surprise that the US is playing along to the lies just like with weapons of mass destruction in Iraq

"3. Now that Albania is all but a NATO member expect more US support for Albanians. In fact Obama might even visit Albania (and Croatia) in April as part of NATO celebrations. Serbs are trying to pull what Tito did with both sides: different time now, Tito was a master and Yugo mattered then a lot, Serbia does not as much.

Don't be so naive. There's no such thing as a free lunch as far as the US is concerned. Albanians will get into Nato but only at a steep price -- you will have to prove your indisputable loyalty to your American masters first. Among other things, that probably requires you to make life easier for Obama by sending Albanian troops to places like Afghanistan to die in place of Yankee soldiers. The US cannot afford the ever growing American casualties there because of obvious domestic political and economic reasons.

It's only the US, Serbs don't need them at all or the EU, Nothing good has come from the US in all it's History, just look at there economy Now. Serbs should make better ties with Russia and China.

A few things: how funny that Serbia sends it's token Muslim to the National Prayer ceremony.

2. "He pointed out to U.S. officials that the six-point agreement signed at the UN was not being applied in Kosovo in the slightest, particularly in the areas of justice, police and customs"

Haha! Ya think they didn't know? Who agreed to have two customs, two systems of justice, two sets of laws? US and almost all of EU /NATO recognizes Kosova as ONE state so it's obvious.

There are several key reasons why the US is so determined that Kosovo remains independent- but the main reason is- Camp Bondsteel, which was built on Serbian territory in Kosovo. As long as Kosovo is "independent", the US doesn't have to worry about being evicted because the "government" in Pristina is under US control. The other main reason for US not budging on Kosovo is their political "arrogance", which supercedes their political "wisdom". If the US was truly interested in Balkan stability, they would be more impartial and fair towards the Serbian people, and act as a truthful mediator. But again, agendas (both political and military-industrial complex) seem to always take precedence over common sense. The good news however, is that the US's determined "agenda" for Serbia might be down-sized due to the economic meltdown which I feel is just beginning. Serbia- stay strong!!!
