I usually read your comments with pleasure and agree with your opinions most of the times. But today... Don't you think that Serbia should once and for all get out of the habit of getting "hot chestnuts" out the fire for others? Once liberator was conveniently labeled "aggressor" when the JNA was protecting YUGOSLAVIA, not Serbia! As for liberator role in the past, quiet often was heard the argument that nobody wanted Serbia to liberate them. But that was after they got a good chunk of..Italy, for instance. You know, those cute little islands like Brioni named by their Italian owners, brothers Brioni, not the Croatian word "Brijun" (?) as they claim it today! Or Sv. Nikola? How 'bout Fiume? And was it Serbian induced mass hysteria "Trieste is ours" and will give our lives but not Trieste? Gorizzia, Istria? Pola? Italian names on Italian gravestones shamelessly replaced by non-Italian once? Or the gravestones simply removed? Italian families (re)moved to Italy? Was that Serbian deed? The birth of impressively sounding modern expression "ethnic cleansing" was in the waiting till Serbia started to deal with the terrorists on her own land. No, my dear landsman, Serbia should decline any mediator role even if offered, just sit back and enjoy the international theater, true colors of the people that are sincerely united only when it comes to mud-throwing at Serbia and her "Greater Serbia" tendencies! For there is a wonderful American expression:"You bit it, you eat it". After the great, touchy song "Danke Deutschland", of course.

I say let them fight. Serbia can be smart and sell arms to both sides, just like Israel did in the Iran-Iraq war. We can then cheer for both sides to lose. Then NATO can intervene and bomb both sides, assuming both sides become members of that immoral club.

Shouldn't Serbia be the one to mediate the land dispute. After all,it was Serbia that liberated those lands many times over.

Serbia's new slogan should be
"the balkan babysitter"

It's great how the former Jugolsav states argue amongst each other without involving the Serbs.

What is he doing here mediating?

Berlesconni and the northern league should be there.

The sooner Italy takes back it own adriatic coast and Krajina is restored the better....
