I would like only to mark that Greeks, Serbians, Albanians, etc. are “doomed” to live together in the same neighborhood. Their long-term interest is to work together, cooperate and respect each other.
Super power allies come and go. They do what’s better for their interest. You think the US cared about Albanians? If their interests became different they would go against them in no time… Foreign policy has nothing to do with emotions and revenges. It’s about interests and power.

I also would like to say to “EA” and “the Greek” that the visions for Great Greece, Great Albania, Great Serbia or Great Bulgaria caused most of the problems in our region. We would need 2 Balkan peninsulas to cover every nation’s ambitions. So, please, cool down because we will live together next to each other for the next …thousand years.
We don’t know. Perhaps our children will be lucky enough to live in a united Europe without inner borders. And all these that you mentioned about Kosovo or Epirus would be meaningless…

What payback time? What payback can five states that are full members of Euro-Atlantic organizations get for not recognizing Kosovo? You think Kosovo would take preference over those five countries?

You honestly think the West will risk its relations with an EU/NATO power like Spain over Kosovo? You really overplay Kosovo's importance.

To L*O*G*I*C:

"America spends more money on Serbia to strengthen Serbia's EU commitment and democratic-peace via USAID then any of these "allies".

It is amazing how some Serbs tend to forget their own past and try to "forgive", in order to survive (according to their poor "logic"). You just forget very easily that the Americans were the ones that were bombing you and killing your own people just 10 years ago, in order to steal your land and give it to the Albanians. And now you talk about "american invenstment in Serbia higher than other countries - so americans better friends"??? Simply pathetic...

To Bill:

Believe me, I know the Greek history and the Greek history of Northern Epirus much better than yourself - that's why I mentioned what I mentioned. The Albanian occupied Northern Epirus has always been Greek - with Greek citizens living there, and it could be well returned to Greece one day. You see, the Albanians might have to return the land they have stolen from other countries (like Serbia or Greece) some time in the (near) future.

Now, I f Serbia would be better if it looks forward to a democratic future - yes I would agree with you. Sucking the americans all day and all night, and end up to be a country, smaller than Croatia in a few years!

The Greek,

You seem to come with ideas from a past era. I must say you don't seem to know Greek history let aside the history of Epirus. You reply to naive statements with threats as if the Balkans was still in the hands of war lords. Serbia would be better-off if it looks foreward to a democratic future and not get stuck with Greece.

Everything looks good on paper, but what about reality? How much does Greece invest in Serbia? How much aide (USD) has it given in the last decade?

America spends more money on Serbia to strengthen Serbia's EU commitment and democratic-peace via USAID then any of these "allies".

I dont understand what is the problem...First of all, the article is that greece supports SAA implementation of Serbia...What's the problem? everybody wins from this....so good news...

Secondly, idiot EA, last week Greece ratified a similar connection protocol between EU-albania....

We also want Albania to move on.....good news too...But you are living a decade at least ago...

we dont want any nationalist and hate speeches like yours any more in the region..... and believe me neither Europe or US.....

and Spain will be the last to recognise Kosovo, and i dont understand why not?? we do what ever we want and according to ours and EU regional interests.....

The Greek

I really enjoy the threats that EA (and other Albanians) do against anyone in the region who is against their interests.

They dare to threat even a country like Greece which is 100 times more powerful militarily, economically politically and so on.

Well my friend EA, let me tell you this: NATO and others in general, will not always do wars for you - in order to help you gain other's people land. Like they did to Serbia in 1998, (when your ridiculous UCK had been totally crashed by the Serbs before the NATO bombardment).

Serbia at that time was considered "non-western" country and the americans just wanted some protectorates (like Kosovo) to control the region. This time has passed long ago...

Now if some nationalistic Albanian elements DARE to do any hostile move against a country like Greece, the only thing they will achieve is to bring total destruction and deletion of the Albanian element from the Balkans. Northern Epirus has been Greek for thousands of years anyway...

And of course noone in the west will do anything, to an importnat country like Greece for the sake of the Albanians. So Albanians: Don't "play with fire" because there might be a day that you will have to fight a war by yourselves (for the first time).

Strange she didnt mention Kosovo today? OSCE propably told her not to speak on behalf of them. Who knows, we will learn more tomorrow.

EA, how many times do Greece and Cyprus have to say that they will not recognize Kosovo before you get it?

What on earth is making you think that they will? Please enlighten us less informed folk.

Also, do stop with the threats. What price are you talking about? You Albanians have become drunk on NATO'S power. Do you honestly think that they will continue to fight your battles for you?

Nobody, listen carefully, nobody is going to punish Greece on Cyprus because of their stance. Albania can try but will regret it very soon.

EA

pre 15 godina

I do expect Greece to be the last or maybe before last country to recognise Kosova as an independent country. I am not sure whether Greece or Cyprus will be the last. Anyway we know the reasons even if someone reads the blocking process legitime unders "international law". The payback time will come and the price will be extremely high for the "blockers".
