It is a good step: first registration than taxes for all stuff entering Kosova. Than the last stage, hand over to Kosovar Government.

"Sooner or later EULEX will handle that border control to the Kosovo Government, just as soon as situation cools down.

Don't hold your breath for this to happen anytime soon because you will suffocate. If anything, it seems to me EULEX is in fact actually PREVENTING Prisitna from trying to control the north, including its checkpoints. This is in order to prevent a bloodbath which would have been the EU's worst nightmare come true.

No it looks like the EU empire control borders expanding what ever pretentious name it goes under. Or how many no the EU citizens give to its expansions. Their is a bigger deadlier end game. Europeans never learn until it is much to late!

This looks like a good move to fight organized crime and corruption. It will surely be opposed by all kinds of traffickers, from all nationalities, who make their living on contraband and drug sales.

The goods coming through the two checkpoints have been exempt of all duties since February last year.

The Albanians announce their illegal UDI and that reopens the Kosovo provincial border with Serbia. Nice one!

All we need now is a technical agreement to implement freedom of travel to the enclaves and the functional partition is nearly there. We will finally be free of the criminals in Pristina and all non-Albanians will have full access to Serbia and the benefits that provides - present and future.
