Bildt, as an strong advocate of Kosovo, is not a strong advocate of Serbia. He does not recognize Serbia's borders and cannot be trusted in anything he says.

Why all the rush??? Everyday it seems like Tadic, Delic, Jeremic or the EU bureaucrats are all demanding accelerating Serbia's pace towards the EU. But I never read about discussions, pros and cons, about joining the EU. Joining such an "all-encompassing" organization such as the EU, with it's rules that will supercede Serbia's own laws is a dangerous road- some things may be better, but some things may be so much worse and repressive. And joining is so much easier than "un-joining". This "rush" to get into the EU suggests that certain people want us to get in before we actually KNOW what we're getting into- before the Serbian public can realize what's happened to their sovereign country, and who our new "rulers" will be. When "urgency" becomes a priority rather than a "full understanding" of EU membership- then Serbs should worry and demand an accounting of the actions of their leaders.
