"The basic problem is that Serbia is unable to think democratically." Gligorov.

Thanks miri for the link.

The above sentence encapsulates the cause & effect of all problems of western Balkans.

If Serbia doesn't want to make a democratic turn then her voice for issues outside Serbia should simply be disregarded- that is no more 6 point stuff or similar idiotic things.

Thanx miri -- i looked over the link and it does appear, from this and a number of other selections, that "Pescanik" offers some of the few progressive or dissident points of view from the media outlet.

The West cares more about Kosovo then Serbia. The West is investing in Kosovo, and the West is training Kosovo army/police. The West has died defending Kosovo such as the Ukrainian who gave up his life because of Serbian propelled Moltov Coctails.
What has Serbia done besides used local Serbs as pawns for its' theatric plays called, "ICJ: International Law at 12:44pm"?

"building an Albanian army on Serbian territory".

Territory that Serbs took it by force and lost it by force. Oh, and the army accepts Serbs, roma etc.

NATO is scared of Serbia pulling out of PfP they will really listen. If you aren't in a "partnership for peace" with NATO, guess what happens? KSF now reports to the Kosova Parliament, like any modern does.

"freeze PfP status" please do that.

isn't stupid to make such threats to a such organisation, would really NATO care? dont think so this was for the good of the serbs but if they want to freeze more than welcome.

I feel as though the serbian people made a huge mistake in the election of the current government in Serbia. They have done very little to save our country and bring our province back within it's territories. Serbia has been fooled too many times by the West. I think it is time we turn to our long time allies, the Russians. In such a case we would not be discussing any of these problems.

Koshtunica seem to understand situationa but the problem is that he is not offering any realistic solution. Refering to Kosova's army created in Serbian soil I would say to Koshtunica that Serbia lost Kosova for ever in 1999 after the NATO bombing and the resistance of KLA. We all know and have talked about the history of the Serbia's war in Balkan. That is a lesson for all dictators in the world that should you exercise terror on your "own" people you risk to lose these people and the territory where this people live.
