Russian gas arrives in Serbia

The first shipment of Russian gas has arrived in Serbia, with Srbijagas saying that supplies will return to full capacity during the course of the day.

With reference to Srbijagas funding I believe option 2 is the most appropriate in particular since "emergency Government funding" is within the budget. What the report fails to say is that consumers have been hit with one price increase after another and a further 18% increase could bring some households to a braking point.

Many homes in Serbija do not have a luxury of central heating and depend on one room being heated. It is not much fun having to use a bathroom or a bedroom with temperatures -10 outside. Forcing people to cut down on use of gas at this level because they can not afford to pay their bills really need addressing.
