Which country got to issue its own postage stamps first is hardly the most important question. Consider Slovenia, which has been a sovereign state only since 1991. Yet it is now far ahead of both Serbia and Albania in terms of its economy, health and educational statistics, etc. Despite its smaller size, Slovenia is now arguably a more influential player in Europe and the region. It's not what we think of ourselves, it's what we do that matters in the world.

Arresting Ratko Mladic is the best (and the only) way for Serbia to recover its good name and claim its place in Europe.

Not a fair comparison, Slovenia was not bombed to the dark ages and most of its industry remained in tact.

Albania, well being under extreme Marxist-Leninism under Hoxda(sp) followed by various government scandals can rock any nation. That being said, Albania seems to have more corrupton problems than any other Balkan nation which continues to slow it's economic progress.

Dardania,
you should brush up on your history. I recommend that you research the following names
Ratko Mladić
Radovan Karadžić
Slobodan Milosevic

as they contributed greatly to the Albanian cause.

booyar, but by asking for outside help proves that Serbia is trying to find Mladic and he isn't hiding in a military base. If Serbia is so bad at capturing fugitives and everyone else so good then there would be no "most wanted" lists anywhere.

Dardania, you are just being disingenuous with you Politics and Economics comments. Serbia has a very strong annual GDP growth despite not being a member of the WTO etc. Serbia has been a state or an intergeral part of a sovereign state since 1867. Albania has been a state since 1912.

"Every day i read the paper, i read about some Serb on the sports, political or entertainment scene, making a difference."

In sports yes. Politics: mostly in Hague. Economics, just now Serbia got a nice chuck of cash from IMF, Albania just threw them out. How long has serbia had a state (thanks to Russia?)

Once again, what has Serbia done?

booyar,
yes Serbia requires foreign help in capturing Mladic, because he is probably being hidden by the same liberators, that helped the Albanians invade and evict the Serbs from Kosovo.

The Albanians all over the world have been nurtured and still are unable to stand on their own two feet.

Lets not talk about what nation requires help, as the Albanians require the bulk of it.

Albania has been able to live undisturbed for centuries and still lacks, military, economical and political means to compete with the rest of the world.

Every day i read the paper, i read about some Serb on the sports, political or entertainment scene, making a difference.

What are Albanians contributions to all of Europe?

p.s.
By the way "forgin" is a swear word in Canada.
