but i mean seriously and frankly i dont follow you. are you saying you want to ban leaders? it's not realistic. it wont happen. there will always be leaders. some are disastrous others are better. putin falls under the latter category when russia and serbia are concerned, dont know about the rest of the world, dont care.

smile after all those josip broz and then milosevic pictures can't you see the connection with cult of personality?

Personally I'm allergic to 'good' or 'bad' leaders and their silly picture and the servile who think the sun shines through their behinds, who childishly think that somehow these men care about them. Most leaders deserve contempt, some more, some less, but you can be sure it is not generally our interest they are representing, rather their own.

how cult of personality got into this is well beyond not to mention below me :)
what's wrong with this picture guys: putin and a bunch of others politicians and whathaveyou painting, using their names and reputations to get the best price in the auction. the money goes to kids suffering from cancer. and you talk about cults. well how about a cult of people obsessed with putin. i will join but only to spy on you. trust no one :))

...and yet, it's such a godawful painting. but, putin is godsend both for russians and us :))
so v.v., keep rocking.

Without that "terrible" Putin and his strong hand Russia would have fallen apart.A great politican who cares about his nation's interest as opposed to puppets called Orbán and Gyurcsány who serve only foreign interests.Of course some financial circles in Brooklyn and Manhattan are not to happy that someone spoilt there business and prevented their troyan horses in russia like Gusinski Berezovski and other from destructing Russia completely .In my opinion the real problem is that very soon a square in Budapest will be named after Tom Lantos the greatest supporter of UCK the guy who well before 99 bombings in 1988 promised the albanians in Brooklyn that he will do everything for independent kosovo.

Much worse Ataman than the vain leaders are the lemmings who need a leader and the cult of personality.

In contemporary Serbian politics this was persued by Josip Broz and then Slobodan Milosevic. In fact I'd call it (the need for a divine leader) a sickness that needs to be cured with a dose of individualism....

Still, with a little more people will realise there is no deliverance.

A very awful beginning leading to an even more awful end called "personal cult".

There are already streets named after putin. I did not know, what I am missing (yet), but now I don't miss anything.

The sooner this guy retires from politics, the better is for the country. But the chances are as big as snake/pigeon/haradinaj showing up in Hague, admitting all crimes they did and volunteering for 25 years without parole.
