Why aren't the Italians punished retroactively for not doing enough to catch war criminals?
Afterall he was hiding in Italy and it was the Spanish who captured him.
After all even after Karadzic is arrested Serbia is punished for not doing enough to capture him earlier, ignoring the fact he spent some time in Austria.

I guess the evidence against Gotovina can now be destroyed by the Hague. Better that Gotovina is dead, then to have the truth about his war crimes printed in western media.
I can't believe that a war hero like Gotovina, could possibly be linked with the biggest mafia in the world....LOL!
