Ida, read the above B92 article, true it does not say that the organs were actually transplanted there but that is the inference. Otherwise why would they be taking the patients there.
There is no way to convince those who want to believe it is true. I have never seen where an unbiased person has given it any credibility.

This investigation is a good news as it will hopefully put some disturbed minds to rest.
As someone who lives a few kilometers from the so called damned village in Burrel where all this ''organ trade'' happened ..... this story is nothing but blah blah blah... a Carla Del Ponte fiction story trying her best to sell many books. It is nothing different from trying to convince citizens of New York that there is a Godzilla underneath the ground waiting to come up and get you!!!
The end of investigation will be something like ''as there was not enough evidence we can not prosecute any one''. After all there will be a few millions of euros wasted on the process and I wish they would come from Ms Del Ponte's bank account.

Peace

"They would not be able to handle 75 patients at one time"

The report doesn't say they did the transplants in Albania - only cut out the organs there. They were transported (flown) to Italy and other places. It was known there was a sudden glut of organs in 1999 and 2000, according to an Italian expert who studies this. She said the prices went down for the organs because there was a suddenly higher supply.

No doubt certain of the international forces and agents got their share of the deal in this. Organs are in extremely high demand and the obtaining and transplantation of organs is a very lucrative business.

Unless there is a lot more than what has been printed this story could only be credible to the uneducated.
Transplant medicine is not a back road clinic venue.
A recent article stated that 75 kidney patients were transported to the area at the same time that 75 Serbs were transported there. The number one transplant center which has done more transplants than any other center in the world averages one transplant a day. They would not be able to handle 75 patients at one time, how could anyone think a some shoddy farm house or mental clinic in Albania could do that feat.
Plus the mortality rate would have to be so high among recipients that there would be plenty of families out there to testify about this operation.
I say move on to something more credible like kidnapped Serbs were transported by rocket ship and being kept in a prison on the moons surface.

Am glad to see that another of my fellow Swiss citizen will have the opportunity to finish what Carla Del Ponte was not allowed to pursue!

Dick Marty is the one who, against the US denial and protest, uncovered the "CIA prisons" in some european countries so I have no doubts that if there is a reason to persue he will do if not he will close this story once for ever!

So, doesn't matter which nationality you are, you should be glad that finally a real professional will try to uncover the truth.

Nobody has forgotten about what happened in Kosovo, in Serbia, in Croatia or in Bosnia irrespective of who the perpatrors were, all the above have blood on their hands one way or the other!

Whatever the nationality is, someone who has spilled blood can and should never be considered as a heroe, but as a criminal with more or less responsibility for his acts.

So, for God sake,, let the justice do his work and stop crying about the past, nothing can reserve it but the future and the truth, that's what matters!

Okay, that's nice, but what is in that rapport? We Serbian nationals demand and want to know exactly what have happened to the kidnapped Kosovo Serbs. We don't want sensationalist news, legends, myths and speculations, we expect the most serious investigation.
And Mr. Vekaric should rapport on a regular basis about this matter because millions of people (and not only Serbs, believe me) are following this case.

In the previous post regarding the ex high MUP official testifying about a massacre I sadi: this info will be ingored one more time by our Serbian friends and it will be surely followed by a speculative article from Belgrade yellow press about the ‘yellow house’ thing…

This is one more time that I find myself naïve and optimistic: it was PRECEDET

At keast I am right concerning my first assumption: the serbian war crime massacres in Kosova ARE IGNORED ONE MORE TIME by our Serbian friends posting here regularly, with one exception.
