Don't worry about Gasprom ! Their compassion for the current Ukrainian leaders is at zero level and they are going to enjoy a total victory without leaving them a chance to save their faces. So they are going to punish Ukrainian elites as severe as it will be possible.

So they are not misleaded with the new Ukrainian fairy tale of the 75 mln mentioned. With USD 100 Bln income in 2008 those are peanuts for Gasprom. But the thing is that they need to unmask and thus discredit the wholr Ukrainian elite. As a judoist Putin needs a NIPPON kinda victory/ No KOKA or YOKA will satisfy him this time. Besides it's our vendetta for Georgia where our folows were killed by Ukrainian weapons and missile operators.

Two days I have been looking through Ukrainian forums and found them rather neutral
i.e. they have a mixed feeling but they realize that the truth is on Russia's side. Most people there still doubt that Ukraine will sign the same Protocol EU and Gasprom had signed.

Cheers !

The whole of Central and Eastern Europe are suffering, everyone is in the same boat. A small word of thanks to Germany and Hungary for helping us out, but I'm sure they are getting paid for it.

Brother Orthodox,

who is going to compensate Gasprom for the 120 million lost everyday because of that thief's actions, masquerading as a leader in holy Kiev?

Never mind the 75 billion in subsidies Gasprom has provided since the nineties in cheap gas.

He had a spare 2 billion to fund Saka's military but not 2 billion to pay his debts

Or is he on the PR campaign that this is the new Galodomir, so on...

Please campaign with every citizen to bring Ukraina back into the fold and where it belongs and avoid a catastrophe that this man (with the usual suspects) has been hatching for our people.

As far as I know none of the Serbs asked you to feel proud about them. D'you really think that your small message can change something ? Russians and Serbs went through several wars. During one of such wars they even captured 5 Italian divisions at the Adriatic with 90 000 personnel and armaments. So this Gas Blitz Grieg we shall also somehow cope with.

If you use words like "beg" you must also be ready to assume that Italy and the whole Europe are also begging Russia and Ukraine. Best if you do not try to persuade Serbs do something their ancestors would never approve. You viewing of what they ought to do in the circumstances can merely change them. So best if we both keep them up saying a couple of warm words. In a few days they will have the gas so no need salting their injured place.

Thank you ever so much !

This is not the question of reputation, but rather the question of Serbia's importance in the South Stream deal. Something that was very clear to many EU governments from the very beginning.Very smart move in Kostunica time, unfortunately delayed for almost a year due to the efforts of some Russo-fobs, "progressive" West-lovers.
Interestingly enough, with so many friendly, well-wishing hearts bleeding over "for-peanuts-to Russians-sold-oil industry", none was bleeding when recently US Steel closed some operations in Smederevo. Or this is maybe something called "Schadenfreude"?

I would not be very proud of Serbia's performance in this crisis: first you sell your oil indstry to Russians for peanuts, and then beg Hungary and Germany for emergency gas supplies.
