B. Wade Fort Dix, if anyone knows what Albanians are capable of you know.

If only the rest of America knew this, but it's all hidden from them. Most Americans don't even know the nationality of the Fort Dix terrorists.
That's politics for you.

Politics has nothing to do with justice.

Even Rudolph Giuliani, one year beafore he became Mayor of New York City had to beef-up his security from threats from these people. Alan M Cohen, a U.S. assistant attorney, had to live under 24 hour guard with his family for three months. There have been many American Judges, prosecutors, and police officers that had their lives thretened, and many had to be "escorted" as a result from the Albanians here in the US. These K Albanians have no idea how lucky they are that the Serbs are not Americans and that Serbia is not America, or Germany, or Italy, or Israel, or any country in the world for that matter. The Albanians are very lucky indeed that the Serbian hands are practically tied at the moment. Where else do people have to be escorted on their own legal territory, in order to go to church? I guess among church burning people one needs to be escorted to church on any day including on Christmas. Christ is Born!

Merry Christmas to all.

Where else do Christians need an army escort to go church and celebrate with their families in order that they are not abducted, beaten or killed...

Baghdad.

Indeed, welcome to the multicultural, tolerant 'Republic of Kosova'.

Meanwhile in the rest of Serbia, nearly half a million catholics celebrated their Christmas with their families in their churches and cathedrals with their Orthodox and Protestant brethern.

Peggy,
Please see my previous post--an eyewitness account. Not an imaginary vision from afar used to stimulate propaganda.
Also please note Ban Ki Moon's report to the UN in which it has been determined that freedom of movement is only a concern for the minority "Albanian" population in North Mitrovica.
So the armed escorts are more of a picture taking event.
But it does bring up the question as to whether that service is available to the people who truly need it in the North?

What L*O*G*I*C meant was that they use the pre-war car plates (thus not registered to nowhere) with PR or KM initials, plate designs that are not used even in Serbia nowdays, not to mention Kosova! It's almost like coming to Serbia with KS (Kosova) plates... tell me what would have happened to me? You may very well know what!

By the way, happy Bozic to all the Serbs and other Orthodox believers (I'm not sure if this feast is for Orthodox believers only, if not, happy to all of them who celebrate it)!

Greets from Prishtina!

LOGIC...take a ride down any interstate in the US and you'll see Canadian plates on US roads, perfectly legal, and perfectly acceptable. No worries.

In addition, millions of US Citizens are going bankrupt due to a multiple of reasons, some due to failure on payment of current or even back taxes. The IRS may foreclose on their homes, however, the National Guard is not needed to protect these people from IRS hit squads.

Let us recap what albanian gunmen do: blow up Serbian buses, steal Serbian organs, shoot Serbian farmers, burn Serbian churches, and ethnically cleansing 99% of the Serbian population from Pristina.

Welcome to this eutopia called Kosova, where anyone not Albanian needs an escort in order to stay alive.

Shame on you US for supporting such a horrible prejudicial way of life.

Merry Christmas to all and hope that next Christmas will be celebrated in safety.

"First of all these people are driving with another countries plates which in any country is illegal. Can you drive with Serbian plates in Norway? I don't think so. "

Are you for real? Kosmet another country? The correct term for KiM would be "american occupation."

"Secondly, the KP is escorting them to prevent any danger. How much taxes has a Serb paid in the last 10 years? None. The Serbs don't pay the electricity, the water, nothing."

Why would there be danger? When have albans ever paid taxes in their life? Who do you think paid for the infrastructure in Kosmet? You alabnians had it too good under Slobo, he was too kind to you.

Truly sad that people need police escort to celebrate Christmas. "Welcome to a free and democratic Kosovo!"

@ Lazar

I don't blame you for not understanding some parts of Serbian Tradition - after all
you can't blame one for not knowing the things he/she was never told about, or was unable to see them. Knowing for how long we were forced not to cherish that tradition (tradition was something considered to be very "nationalistic" when it came to Serbian Tradition)and knowing how many people conveniently chose not too have any, I don't think your case is an exception. But, Lazar, you surprised me for "not seeing the forest from the woods" (my apology if I misquoted the proverb)! Didn't you notice how carefully "badnjak" cutting was planned? Strict limitations? Time, areas? Left side of the road, right side of the road... The hill, the... I am sure the planning wasn't done with "save a tree" in mind. Why then, Lazar? I do know why, and on this day, it saddens me more then dozens of fallen trees.

Hey Lazar,
too bad they don't sell artificial badnjaks at the local stores!
Anyways, better to share a tree of badnjaks, then to completely chop down a forest of evergreens, as we do in Canada.

Where else in the world do you need a military escort to safely celebrate Christmas Eve, and Christmas traditions? That says it all about this fake, illegal and immoral 'state'.

Passed through this area today twice. People seem to be carefree in their festivities. There were more police out than usual but mainly concentrating on traffic control as there would be large numbers of cars parked and blocking the roadway.
I did see a couple of groups of 4-5 cars with a Kfor escort but for the most part people were coming and going as they pleased.
I do wish a Merry Christmas to all the Orthodox Christians.

Ladies and Gents, what ever happened to UNMIK Police. It looks like they are out of the picture, and don't even bother with EULEX Police cause they are not there to look out for hand full of people and ignore the majority.
