The human rights are respected in Serbia! The Problem is that the majority of Albanian population living in Serbia doesn't respect this country, doesn't speak serbian, doesn't want to work and searches always for the problems! If you have something against Serbia this is another thing, but the things I have just said are true! Would you be happy if any foreigner living in your country detroys its flag in front of you?

Sorry to interrupt your dreams, the last census witnessed a decline in the Albanian population in South Serbia.
Believe me,the time will come Albanians not only will loose Presevo but also Kosovo, remember time is on our side(Russia & China).
In the meanwile let the foreigners deal with you,de jure kosovo is still Serbian thats what counts...

There is nothing wrong in protesting in a peaceful way.

It is important that Mr Ibisi has admitted that arrested man were members of KLA suggesting that these are not randomly selected people.

I feel for the families of arrested as well as for families of victims and I do hope that justice will be done.

If they go to the Hague which I doubt they will they won't be there for long because the very first question will be:

Who ordered these arrests?, answer is Dacic, while looking at his file... his dream of greater Serbia when he tried to cleanse Kosova from Albanians. Too bad this ethnic cleansing didn't go in your favour and these arrests won't go either.

Authorities in Prishtina should issue an arrest warrant(interpol if necessary) for this guy named Ivica Dacic but he'll change his name like Dr David, maybe Dr Zhika the Veterinarian(I doubt he likes animals but I had to guess).

Bravo Albanians in Serbia for protesting. Don't ever move away from Presheva, as I know you'll never do. Your time will come as well, naturally, by growing. You're already tens of thousands strong. We achieve our goals step by step.

If Ivica Dacic crosses the "fine line" like Slobodan Milosevic allegedly did than it should be incumbent upon the Hague Tribunal to penalize him or her.

""They were KLA members, but they did not go to war against civilians. UNMIK and KFOR were in Kosovo at the time, so wouldn't they have arrested them, had they really committed crimes,""

Because UNMIK & KFOR are disable against albanian crimes, or possibly it is "politically inccorect" to arrest albanian war criminals because albanians "must be pure victims" under their politics...

i hope every single war criminal will face the justice, without ethnicity.

Here we go again with the Albanians crying foul. A few Albo's get arrested and its time for insurrection. Looks like March/April will be interesting in 2009.

haha let albanians bark in presevo a kosovo what they going to do???

America can try its best too make it look out you are the victims but this time the world will see the real truth just like they are now with kosovo.

And i forgot too mention Serbia is backed by russia and China, america is financialy and military stuck in Afghanistan and Iraq

The point is.., if they're a bit "innocent" - rebellion would already start with a gunfire all over Presevo.. Demonstration for monsters like those is still out of mind. I can imagine atmosphere at those Albanian homes while "heroes" were talking about their crimes in details... There's definitely more "civilians" will be arrested on the base of information is going to be gathered right now from those arrested. They're "singing" and that's sure- while I'm typing this! This is a rare moment I can show sympathy for (any) Police methods.. Hope it will be done "to the bone" and reflected those days. There's more "citizens" to come!

The protesters carried Albanian flags and banners that read, "KLA warriors don't belong in jail",

The protesters are right!

Jail is way too nice of a place for them.

Peggy,
You are right!

If a Serb carried a Serbian flag in Croatia that person would not see tomorrow. Serbia is the only one that is continously intimadeted in the Balkans. It's about time Serbia made a move like this.

Look how Albanians protect their criminals.
Don't they believe that an Albanian can commit crimes?
They are turning this into some sort of a political thing when this is just what it is, a criminal thing.

Serbs had to and still have to live with these people. Serbia is the only country of former Yugoslavia in danger of being carved up like a Christmas turkey. That's because it is the most racially diverse country there and the Albanians have found that they can cause as much unrest as they please with the support of the US.

I bet they wouldn't get far in Croatia with this nonsense.

"They were KLA members, but they did not go to war against civilians. UNMIK and KFOR were in Kosovo at the time, so wouldn't they have arrested them, had they really committed crimes,"

Well the facts are lots of non-Albanian civilians in Kosovo have been attacked/killed since NATO arrived, but the number of arrests is barely above zero.

Veliki Srbin

The albanians would protest even if the devil himself were arrested. Too bad no one will believe this new charade about "oppression." If one wants to see oppression, look at the Serbian plight in Kosovo since 1999, or even for most of this past century.

kufr

The arrested are suspected war criminals and they will have their chance to prove their innocence in court. It will be a fair trial. I am sure NATO will send somebody to the trial to make sure they get correct treatment. If they have nothing to hide they have nothing to be afraid of.
