Muslims mark beginning of new year

Best wishes to our Muslim neighbours for the coming year. May we all live in peace and be prosperous.

Sounds very strange cause other Muslims celebrate their New Year on March 20 according to the Moon Calender. It is not Muslim holiday otherwise it would be celebrated according to the Islamic Calendar counted since the mentioned move Of Mohammad from Medina to Mecca to take place in the year of 621. So Muharram is second important month ( after Ramazan ) in Islam but it has nothing to do with the New Year. At least in the rest of the Islamic World.
