Why do Serbian posters continue to answer KLA sympathizers posts? Can't you see your interaction with them is only furthering their megalomania?

Ninoslav Rajkovic

pre 15 godina

Dear L*O*G*I*C

Thank you for your response.

What I say is lets wait and see. I would like to read your thoughts on the following questions:

1. Do you think that any KLA member has committed any crime ever?

If the answer is No, please do not bother reading question No2

2. If the answer is yes, do you think that those who committed a crime should be held accountable?

Regards

I write the same here like i wrote regarding the 3 arrested bnd agents in pristina a couple of weeks ago. as far as judical procedures are valid they are suspects in a crime case, no terrorists, no freedom fighters or whatever. let the trial run and we will see what happens. i hope the serbian authorities will not put that much shame on themselves as the kosovo ones did with the above mentioned case. regarding the "masked officers", it is international standard that special units (for example gsg9 in germany) cover their faces during operations for prevention of revenge acts. and that this is an important thing showed the trial against ramush haradinaj i guess.
one more question where does the number of 10.000 killed albanians come from. the osce number is accoding my knowledge saying something about 1000.

Mospyt

pre 15 godina

The arrests of the 10 Albanians on suspicion of beng KLA members and on trumped up charges of war crimes are a clear provocation. First, it has been carried out to distract internal public opinion from the opposition attacks which accuse it of selling Kosova by letting EULEX in. Secondly, the arrests aim to emphasise that the Serbs were the wronged party in the Kosova war.

Any mention of the 1 million Albanians driven out of their homes by the Serb military and the paramilitary thugs, of the 10 thousand civilians killed, twenty thousand raped and five thousand still missing are treated as Albanian propaganda.

Serbian leaders obviously feel that the prosecution of a few former Serb soldiers on war crime charges gives them the moral right to pursue any Albanian. They feel they have paid their dues and now demand their pound of flesh. At the same time, former reservists and paramilitaries who have soaked their hands in the blood of Albanians in Kosova during 1998-99 have road free and demand mercenary wages.

I can tell when this happened that all the Albanian villages were leaping with excitement. It`s well known that the Albanians in these regions want independence from Serbia and this is something that will get them closer to it.
They can`t wait for the day that some young, Albanian hating, Serbs will go in and attack their village, so that they can start blaming Serbia for "crimes against humanity".
Already, they are getting sensitive. Soon our police will not be allowed to go near an Albanian living in Serbia because a protest might break out.
This didn`t have to be about war crimes, it could have been about an ice cream store robbery for all it matters, the Albanians still would have protested and they still would have accuse Serbs and the Serbian government of being anti-Albanian.

Dear L*O*G*I*C,

Thank you for commenting my post.

I would be happy if it turns out that that these crimes have never been committed and that these are innocent people. In that case, they will be freed, as this will be trial closely watched by all relevant factors.

You didn't deny my post and clearly accept the fact that MUP policemen enforce ethnic profiling. As far as Serbian courts being impartial and fair, maybe in another 20 to 50 years.

It's a shame. I honestly been preaching to my Kosovar friends about co-existence. This is a slap to my face.

PS,

if these "terrorists" had American passports Serbia wouldn't be allow to act in such barbaric manner.

'police is covereing faces like terorists'

on the contrary when i look at the pictures i see our special police btw the best in the region and beyond, dealing with terrorists and for this reason wearing all necessary and usual uniform and equipment for ops like that. btw like i said before about entertaining kosovo security something clothed by americans, if you look at the labels inside our uniforms they're all mile dragic company, zrenjanin, srbija :)
meaning domestic product, domestic talent, domestic training impeccable performance.

'and albanian s are draged'

tell your mates to walk next time ;)

anyway congratulations to the boys who had the high honour to clean this up and bring it to justice. also hash mush, any number of terrorist mice, there's a list alright, and you're on it. like the song says, we'll keep your warrants safe our friends until we meet again.

# The most important thing is that the action was transparent and executed in an appropriate manner.

For those who might be concerned about fairness of the whole process, the level of international scrutiny is such that the accused will not be declared guilty without hard evidence. As Serbia is under magnifying glass (still), it is unlikely that these individuals would be even arrested without hard evidence.
(Ninoslav Rajkovic, 28 December 2008 12:01)

There is no "hard evidence", these individuals were arrested based on their ethnicity. Since the crime was committed in Gjilan (Gnjilan) these individuals would have stated there not moved into Serbia proper. The logic is quite flawed, in America we call it "profiling".

I would still like to see this "hard evidence", such as: pictures, video, witnesses, bodies, etc. I find it hard to believe that the victim number keeps changing from 51 to 107. If these charges were legit names of the victims would have been mentioned.

The main argument is, where are the bodies?

You catch 10 albanians suspected of killing a small number of serbs and say it's justice. There are 3000 missing albanians in Kosovo and 14 000 was killed by serbian military forces. Where is the ten serbian suspects for this big crimes ?

If you caunt it right the 90 percent of the warcrimes in Kosovo was comitted by serbs. There is alote of serbs that are in prison in Haag for killing albanians while there is no albanian in prison for killing serbs. How come that ?

Haag diden't judge Mr.Haradinaj and you still consider him as a war criminal.

I bet to all serbs that in a short period all the ten albanian heros will be realesed and the serbian prosecutor will be ashamed just like the rest of the serbian politicans.

This action shows only that Kosovo can never be within serbian borders and that Kosovo cannot have good neighborly relations with Serbia. Serbia with this action can forget EU-membership because it only shows that the minority in Serbia have no rights.

This action by Serbia is justifying the declaration of independence even more, and shows that Serbia cannot have an albanian minority. That means that even Preshevo valley have the right to parton from Serbia and reintegrerate with Kosovo.

Cheers to all and a happy day when belgrade realeses my fellow albanians from false charges. I will wait for that day like I just waited for the indpendence of the newborn country Kosova.

"In USA that would triger calling 411 for help to prevent masked "police" of exscuting inocent people."

Really? No one in the US seems to care what the federal government is doing to Jose Padilla, a US citizen accused of taking part in a plot to release a "dirty bomb". Mind you, he's accused of "plotting", not actually carrying out. Yet this is how he is treated by the very government you apparently laud:

http://www.andyworthington.co.uk/images/padilladentist.jpg

He is subjected to 24 hour complete isolation. No sight, no sounds, just pure darkness. This has been going on for months, and he has shown visble signs of mental breakdown by his examiners, and whatever information he might have known is now tainted with insanity.

I'd be more careful comparing tactics other countries use to those we use here. I have no sympathty for the man for what he did, but you can just imagine what the US would have done had he committed the crimes these 10 KLA terrorists are accused of.

Dear AL S,

You have to recognize that this was not ordinary police action. If you compare it to similar actions of anti-terrorist units in USA, you would see a lot of similarities.

Have a good one.

Regardin pictures taken by Serbian police during organised capture of 10 Albanians of kosovo liberation armi; one can observ that police is covereing faces like terorists, and albanian s are draged by masked armed "police". Mr. Al, just because USA does something in certain way that doesn’t mean that is the only way. But if you like to compare CIA, FBI, DEA and other law enforcement agency in USA use same tactics because of the nature of their undercover work.(don’t even want to talk about home land security department.) so according to your observation all these USA law enforcement agencies are terrorists organizations to. And for your information emergency number to call for help in USA is 911 just incase you ever need help. I hate to se you call wrong number.

They hide their faces to protect themselves and their families from reprisals, a legitimate threat considering the people they “could” be dealing with.

I also find it strange that the hypocritical posters on here, mostly Albanians is quite astonishing. If the Albanians in Kosovo arrested Serbs for crimes I am sure you will all be cheering, but remember one thing, in conflict there are 2 sides to commit crimes. I guess your criminals are worthy of being heroes?

Also remember in life, things changes and sometimes the tide will go against you. If Kosovo becomes diplomatically naïve and put themselves out on a limb, they will eventually be left as fodder, you have few Muslim friends and plenty artificial “western friends”. My point is that you have no natural allies therefore no certain ground.

Regardin pictures taken by Serbian police during organised capture of 10 Albanians of kosovo liberation armi; one can observ that police is covereing faces like terorists, and albanian s are draged by masked armed "police". In USA that would triger calling 411 for help to prevent masked "police" of exscuting inocent people. This my observation from pictures.

Dear AL S,

You have to recognize that this was not ordinary police action. If you compare it to similar actions of anti-terrorist units in USA, you would see a lot of similarities.

Have a good one.

Sad a sign again that albanians will never be left to be in Presheva ... if these so called "terrorits " were real terrorists im sure that they would have been arrested along time ago... but i guess serbs are feeling the urge to torture again and these 10 poor souls will feel the brunt of the anger of kosova's independance .. May god watch over you and protect you my dear brothers and fellow HUMAN BEINGS for you are now in HELL
(ILIRA, 29 December 2008 01:48)

Wow, can you be any more dramatic?

Serbs are HUMAN BEINGS too but that didn't stop these 10 from tortureing them and murdering them. At least these HUMAN BEINGS will not be tortured but dealt with in court.

Did you think the Serbs were human as well when your lot harvested their organs?

Dear L*O*G*I*C,

Thank you for commenting my post.

I would be happy if it turns out that that these crimes have never been committed and that these are innocent people. In that case, they will be freed, as this will be trial closely watched by all relevant factors.

If you happen to know for certain that there is no evidence in these cases, I would advise you to contact Serbian War Crimes Prosecution Team as well as appropriate International Bodies to bring to their attention your knowledge about these cases.

Being an American, I am sure that you support a fair judicial process and that you are for justice regardless of the ethnicity of accused.

Ninoslav

Why do Serbian posters continue to answer KLA sympathizers posts? Can't you see your interaction with them is only furthering their megalomania?
