If EULEX does anything against 1244 the whole of the UN should intervene!

Yes, this includes US and EU members!

Now is the time for the West to show that we can keep our promises!

The promise is 1244.

"Serbia can take it's heroine and go" is quite comical coming from an Albanian.

Perhaps you can take your drugs, prostitutes and human organ harvesting ghouls and clear of Europe all together.

Serbia should tackle it's heroin, crime, and mafia activity instead of interfering into others business.

Serbia is in the drivers seat at the moment. As I've said from day one, Serbia will do everything in its power to make the illegal state of Kosova a difficult project to achieve. In Serbia, you are dealing with centuries of diplomatic experience, which is obviously not something that the Albanian side can claim. Think about how this whole situation has unfolded diplomatically. Serbia can do anything they want outside of military intervention to protect Serbs in central and southern enclaves. The Albanian's hands are tied. In order to prove to the world that this new Kosova project is truly interested in democracy, the Albanians will need to behave and Serbs will be protected, at least for now. There will be minor incidents, but Serbia can push on many fronts at the moment and the Alabanians will sit, roll over, and obey their masters. In tracking EULEX's work, Serbia will be able to openly expose any abuses of power by the EU, the US, or the Kosovars and make arrests like the recent arrests in Presevo. Serbia is doing work behind the scenes to ensure that the balance of power remains unstable. Serbia will continue to capialize on the weaknesses of the Albanian political system and use the inherent fight within the criminal enterprises in Albania and in Kosovo to Serbia's advantage.

This whole situation is a delicate balance, which can easily be tipped one way or the other. Serbia will continue to work on tipping it in their favor, regardless of how many years or decades this might take. Good luck guys!

“The state of Serbia does not have a strategic goal to partition Kosovo, primarily because of the majority of Serbs who live in the province’s central and southern municipalities. Furthermore, such a policy would not be in keeping with the Serbian Constitution,“ the president explained"

Is this the same guy or not??

Oooo poor Serbian population.

Until when with lies and propaganda???

You, Mr. Tadic, tracked 1244, but the 1244 allowed us to declare indepedence.

The EULEX will ONLY solidify independence. We know this, you know this and international community knows this.

There is no way back. It is far more likely further disintegration of Serbia rather than pre-June 1999 situation.

"President Boris Tadić says that Serbia will intervene at the UN if the EULEX mission in Kosovo fails to carry out its mandate properly."

Go ahead Tadic: all you need to do is convince US, UK and France not to veto any Russia proposal, and then of course you need UN to raise an army to enforce its ruling. You wanted EULEX, you got it! Enjoy. Looks like Tadic is sorry EULEX got in, maybe he expected EU membership a month after.

“Serbia will cooperate with EULEX, and, under a UN Security Council decision, EULEX is obliged to coordinate with Serbia’s state organs,“ Tadić said.

Apparently EULEX is not asking Serbia how to do it's job and apparently Kosovar authorities where right.

Any how they are many technical issues to be solved so EULEX must open it's offices in Tirana, Belgrade, Skopje (Shkup), etc... .

EULEX "....it has status neutrality.“
It is naive to think that "neutrality" of a mission whose participating contries have recognised Kosova as an independent country from Serbia. I have said in the past that Serbia's understanding of UNSC is Russia's veto. Serbia is selling itself to Russia with the latest "deals". That is not my problem anyway. My concern is the Serbia's approach to help in really improve the lives of Serbs living in Kosova rather than living in limbo. The UN latest proposal was a MODUS VIVENDI at least that is the way how I see. The Kosova's institutions haven't accepted it and that is endorsed in the document. It has been approved purely to give Serbia a justification towards its people as another "victory" in the Serbian mythology. On the ground we have EULEX whose participating countries have recognised Kosova as an independent country from Serbia. Serbia can "complain" all day and night for public consumption but that will not help the lives of Serbs living in Kosova. Way forward Serbia to reconginise formally the independence of Kosova, mutual agreement between Kosova and Serbia for free movement of goods and people,....and there would be no storms which will be very difficult to put it down.
