Michael,

As much as they hate the Serbs the truth is even more repulsive to the Albanians.

It's easy to tell by the way they have attacked your comment about the way they were treated.
They had their own schools in their own language even.

I can tell you for sure that in Australia this wouldn't be tolerated. All the universities here are in English and if you don't like it, tough.

Nothing is enough for the Albanians. Given them an inch and they'll take a mile.

I know for a fact, that prior to 1999, there was no ethnic minority on Earth who were better treated and more privileged than the Albanians in Kosovo i Metohija.

-Micheal Breathnach,

You are 100% correct in your statement- The Albanian population living in Kosovo had more privilege than any other ethnic group in the regain. Albanians enjoyed schools, freedom of speech, jobs, freedom of religion, freedom of movement, etc. Let’s not forget; before 1999 population ratio 80% Albanians and 20% Serbs lived in Kosovo. It was Serbs who were the minority, it was Serbs who were discriminated against, and it was Serbs who were ethnically cleansed even before 1999…

During the NATO bombing 2 million Albanian refugees left their homes; 200,000 Albanians refugees came to Belgrade… If Albanians were afraid of the Serbs they would not have come to Belgrade seeking refuge…

During the war Albanians who supported their country “Serbia” were prosecuted and killed by KLA…

This is the Truth…

Don't forget to check you pairliament and the parliament of almost every country in Europe adopting RSOLUTINS of condemning Yugo/Serbia.

Yay!!!! This is great. Finally, Serb minority in the newlyborn nation, the Republic of Kosovo, is accepting the reality and willing to work with the majority. This is not good news for Serbia beaurocrats who keep deceiving the Serb minority living in their southern neighbor,Kosovo!

This is the greatest news of the year!

Btw,didn't you see the most respected Kosovar Serb was a person who believes urges his fellows to join Kosovo institutions!

This is great!

Looks like the “Irish” are better informed about the situation in Kosovo than the Kosovars themselves.
Could someone please explain to me why the Serbs in order to sound credible, decide to become more often Irish than anything else? Is it because they see (or try to paint, more likely) a similarity between Serbia and Ireland concerning Kosovo?
If that is the case, it is Albania that is similar to Ireland. Serbia to Kosovo is what Britain is to Northern Ireland.

"I know for a fact, that prior to 1999, there was no ethnic minority on Earth who were better treated and more privileged than the Albanians in Kosovo i Metohija."

Yeh, you know it for a fact, just that 2 million Albanians don't seem to know it. What a breathtakingly ignorant statement.

The statement is akin to saying:

"I know for a fact, that prior to 1916, there was no ethnic minority on Earth who were better treated and more privileged than the Irish in the United Kingdom" or perhaps

"I know for a fact, that prior to 1999, there was no ethnic minority on Earth who were better treated and more privileged than the Irish Catholics in Northern Ireland."

Imagine an Irish guy making such an ignorant statement. Fortunately, your view is not shared very largely in Ireland (something, btw, I know "for a fact"), though you do have Ian Paisely very solidly on your side.

As for the report, yes, it appears very encouraging progress, even if there may be room for some skepticism.

Micheal Breathnach it's 2008 for another week or so!.

Besides Serb minority in Kosova you're involving other minorities as well LOL. That's wrong.

If you say Kosovarism that would be more appropriate but Albanianism would make lots of people angry just like in your beloved Ireland.

You even mentioned Gorani, Turks, Ashkali,Croats etc.

Have you seen celebrations of Feb 17, 2008 from those minorities you mentioned?.

No offence but you should be ashamed of yourself for not watching EuroNews/BBC or at least should've gotten a newspaper so you could've read and seen more from Kosova.

Croats?. Janjeva/Janjevo used to be about 90% Croat, unfortunately due to the war Croatia-Serbia lots of adults left to fight over there according to Croatian Ambassador to Belgrade Toni Stanicic who visited the town early this year.

However those who live there are very happy and all of them including children celebrated Kosova's independence.

Serbs in Kosova?. There is not only nothern Mitrovica that Serbs live in. There is Shteprca, Gracanica etc and they know better than anyone else that their future is in Kosova no matter what. During the summer they have acces to Montenegro's and Albanian's beaches just like everyone else who lives with their families in peaceful Kosova.

Have you been drinking tonight? Just curious!.

I firmly believe that this bogus and fabricated UNDP poll result should be 'sent to trash' quickly before it offends any Serbs who might be foolish enough to even consider its 'findings'.

The consortium of UNMIK,NATO/KFOR,OSCE,US,EU and others has spent the last decade desperately trying to ethnically cleanse Kosovo i Metohija of all Serbs, Roma and certain other groups (Egyptian, Ashkali, Turk, Bosniak, Gorani and even Croat)who refused to albanise themselves.

Faced with the Serbian quality, Inat, and the impending ICJ ruling, the above-mentioned consortium is now embarking on face-saving measures such as this pathetically connived poll result.

I know for a fact, that prior to 1999, there was no ethnic minority on Earth who were better treated and more privileged than the Albanians in Kosovo i Metohija.
