"Rehn also said that other Balkan countries will submit membership applications next year, after Montenegro did that recently".

There are 4 Balkan countries which have not yet submitted their applications for EU membership:

1. Serbia
2. Albania
3. Kosovo
4. Bosnia

I don't think that Kosovo and Bosnia will be ready to submit their EU membership applications next year.

This means that we are left with Serbia and Albania. Which of these two countries will submit their EU membership application in 2009?
