uli is right, because the only way too reimburse their incomes is to behave in primitive way like in 1998/99: loot, loot and just loot.

the problem is that some got paid wages everyone's entitled to and those some were with political connections, party people and what not. regular guys who the state pointed the finger at and said we need you are left in the cold. unforgivable.
as for cops... that's what they do, obey orders and beat. why waste words.
btw, merdare just like kosovo is in serbia, there's no issue with that people.

You need to seriously read this article before commenting on another's message. It clearly states that the protestors planned to go to MEDARE, in Kosovo, to hold their protest and give support to the Serbs in Kosovo against the new security force in Kosova. Here, read below.

"They say they planned to go to Merdare to demand the war wages owed them by the state, but also to raise their voices against the forming of the Kosovo security forces, and to offer their support to the Serbs in Kosovo. "

These are the bad things "westernization" brings. Professional armies and police forces so detached from society they do more provoking than actual protecting. Meanwhile reservists are treated with disdain and brushed to the way side even if they are veterans. Citizen soldiers are the only soldiers who can be trusted. "Professional" Soldiers are too easily manipulated.

1000 ex soldiers are going to Kosova to protest against what, money that they should receive from Serbian government? Ok now.. who is the one suppose to be paying the army? You think Kosova government will pay them any money at all? NO, simply because they fought againts Kosova and 2- because they do not regognize Kosova Government. Is like sending 1000 ex KLA soldiers to Preseva to protest againts Serbian Government to get paid they war money. This is wrong move from Serbia and they are going to get crashed on the Kosova border. No one in the world will let those guys to get in Kosova and create trouble again.
