Of course these victims should be remembered and one has to be aware that in the future there may be more victims, because the fake state of Bosnia was the worst possible compromise and has been a smouldering fire that will burn again. Please check out this recent article from the NY Times.

Here is a short excerpt.

"Sketching a worst-case example, Srecko Latal, a Bosnia specialist at the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network in Sarajevo, warned that if the Serbian Republic declared independence, Croatia would respond by sending in troops, while the Bosnian Muslims would take up arms. If Banja Luka, the capital of the Serbian Republic, were to fall, he continued, Serbia would be provoked into entering the fray, leading to the prospect of a regional war."

My question is why would Croatia send troops to Bosnia or Republika Srpska? Are they offering to do the dirty work again for NATO/US/EU like during Operation Storm? Have the Bosniaks been supplied with weapons by regimes in Iran, Saudi Arabia, and so on? If Republika Srpska decide to finally become independent Serbia should be ready to assist as soon as there is involvement from any other country. Nobody wants war, but is is clear that Serbs will no longer be dominated by either Muslims or fascists, period. The international community is again playing a dangerous game.

Slavko,

I don't think what you're suggesting is plausible. Common sense suggests that if the Serbs bombed the Bjelovac, then they clearly they did so because it was already in muslim hands - so Nasir Oric's forces had already butchered the 109 Serb civilians. If anything, the Serbs bombed Bjelovac in response to the massacres.

Interestingly, Bjelovac was destroyed but what was left out was that Serb forces bombed the village with war planes.

Is it not possible that some of the 109 Serb civilians died in the bombing?

All crimes should be punished, but the vast majority of crimes where comitted against the Bosnjaks. I would also like to know if someone has any links about the mass graves of these 1500 Bosnian Serbs that were slaughtered in the Srebrenica area.

I can't figure out the innocent Balkans..

The Bosnians didn't want to live in a Serbian dominated Yugoslavia, yet they wanted to dominate the Serbians in a so called Bosnia.. of course people are going to die when one tries to impose their ideologies on others.. yet teh bosnians and Albanians love feeling sorry for themselves.. get over it..

Why don't they cut the Serbs loose.. They don't want to be ruled by Serbs.. well Serbs don't want to be ruled by the muslims... so whats so difficult to understand.. the same can be said for Kosovo...

It's a crazy world...

Naser Oric is of course rewarded for these deeds by walking as a free man from Hague. No crimes against Serbs exist, no crimes against Serbs were ever committed. Serbs in Bosnia had no rights to defend themselves, otherwise when they did Serbs were accused for war crimes. And after people wonder why Serbs in Bosnia do not want to have anything in common with Federation, why Serbs want their own piece of the land called Rrepublika Srpska. Well, this may be just one of the reasons. Though this is not the only reason, it is good enough to be independent from the rest of Bosnia.

May the souls of the victims rest in peace.

No this can't be true. The serbs are responsible for the deaths of millions of muslims. Only the serbs killed people in the war. This was set up by Slobodan Milosevic to try to put blame on someone else. The death of over 1,500 serbs is false. If it is true, then they were killed by other serbs.
On a serious note, I hope that these souls are vindicated one day.
