In even more battles, 200 Spanish as opposed to his 80,000 tribal warriors, and supposedly the spanish won, without assistance.

I am not naive I know the political and admin limits of Thaci or Haradinaj- but I would vote them 100 times. For the simple reason: they were the sons that defended their mothers, daughters, wife’s from criminals. They deserved recognition for their nobility even if it for one term (as I hope), and more over because you Serbs hate them- since they defeated you (Koshara and other places) or at least you didn’t manage to defeat them (they are alive and kicking).

Of course UNMIK hides data because UNMIK all together with KFOR knew what was happening but did nothing to prevent it. In one or another way UNMIK and KFOR were and still are the participants in the hideous crimes against the Serbs in Kosovo province. How else they could justify Albanian terrorism before the war and brutal rampaging after the war in Kosovo province? How else they could justify shameful Ahtisari plan and land grabbing? How else they could justify appointing war criminals as provincial leaders?
But there are the people who know what kind crimes were going on then and what kind of crime is still going on in province. There are people who actually wrote about it and their writings will stay forever as a truthful piece of testimony as a piece of their own experience and what they have witnessed while serving in Kosovo as members of different kind of organisations. One day, these testimonies will be of great importance when Kosovo project is about to fail. And that will happen rather sooner than later.
Lets get clear here - it is an undeniable fact that a war crime took place i.e.
- hundreds of innocent civilians were forceably removed from Serbia's southern province of Kosovo & Metohija and taken to Albainia
- that in itself is a war crime!!!
The failure of KFOR (NATO) and UNMIK in preventing and fully investigating what happened to these innocent Serbian citizens in Albania is a complete damnation upon the so called "humanitarianism" of the NATO countries who have aided and abetted in creating this war crime!
What ever precise evil has befallen (organ harvesting or not) these innocents who are missing and can only assume killed given the length of time only further blackens the morality of those involved (KLA) and bystanders (NATO) who allowed this war crime to occur and the more they block justice the greater the stain!
A war crime has happened and NATO aided and abetted in it - this is an undeniable fact that cannot be hidden any longer. This alone is a war crime that NATO must answer for!

Second, I find that Ben's reason is flawed in terms of critical thinking. Consider his rhetoric, ie: "Thaci defended Albanians from Serbs, therefore it is justified to persecute and murder Serbian civilians for profit.
This kind of reasoning only galvanizes Serbian resolve even further and shows what the Albanian view of human life, and of minorities really is. This is why they can never rule over Serbs in Kosovo. You rule your own areas, we will rule ours, but Serbia will remain defacto Serbian--all of it.
I am disappointed that there is no outrage from the general Albanian population as well. In fact, it is in the "average" Albanian towns that the Serbs are forced to live behind barbed wire.

Atleast your comment is civilised. Though, I must point out a few things. As much as I hate to say it, and as much as people might resent me for it, "sorry" is just a word. Sorry is a word used to express remorse for an action which has been performed without proper thought, and thus, has dire consequences. Sorry doesn't bring people back.
Whats worse is that, which most people wont even acknowledge, serbs were also victims of genocide and war crimes, yet no one is willing to face up to the fact. People find it too easy to point the finger of blame at serbia. It isn't right, people died, and they deserve justice. I don't follow Tito's history, I don't follow the most well known history books, i consider history books to be biased. History books take into account what people had said. The perfect example is the spanish conquest of peru led by Francisco Pizarro. The Battle of Puná, for example. Was faught by a hand full of spaniards, who were not even soldiers, leaving three Spaniards dead and 400 dead or wounded Punians. In even more battles, 200 Spanish as opposed to his 80,000 tribal warriors, and supposedly the spanish won, without assistance.
i could sit here and point out a trillion different flaws in history books and the alike. Illyrians might have been in the balkans, but there is absolutely nothing to connect albanians to them. The albanian people, as what they have known to be for the last while, can only be traced to the turks.
