Actually they cut short all the anthems, not just the Serbian one, and many athletes looked surprised because the music stopped while they were singing. I got the impression that there was simply little time for medal ceremonies.
Congratulations to Cavic!!:)

"The organizers decided to cut short the Serbian national anthem, sounded during the medals ceremony, which visibly affected Čavić's mood"

Yep, yet another example of not only grassroots, but also institutionalized racism in Croatia. Welcome to the independant state of Croatia. Looks like Serbian fears have always been justified in the country. Why would Croatia want to change when they are not held accountable for such fascist sentiment?

Bravo MIlorade!! I look forward to you breaking the world record soon.
The Croat organizers, in typical anti-Serb fashion, cut short the Serbian national anthem, Boze Pravde. No surprise there. Their complex against Serbs knows no bounds. I am surprised they played it at all. In Kranj, Slovenia, after Serbia beat them to win the 2003 Euro championships in waterpolo, the Croat fans attacked the referee and the Serbian players, started a riot by the pool, and the whole medal ceremony was called off.
Yes, these people are 'tolerant' and deserving of EU membership we are told. What a joke.
Well done Milorade!! I hope you win the 50m too!
Cheers!!
