Mostly right pss but don't forget that the Russians say that Serbia should also pay 100% for the environmental issues connected with NIS.

Plus there is no guarantee that Banatski dvor will be part of the deal.

As I understand it the government is not united on the issue.

I guess we shall have to wait and see, and if no pipeline is built it will be clear who is to blame; firstly DSS for driving the deal through in the first place, secondly DS for continuing the policy, thirdly SRS and SNS for not doing their job of opposing and checking the work of the goverment.

At the moment its like the political class is just sleepwalking into something they have no idea how it will end.

Still lets wait and see when smarter heads will eventually prevail.

See if I have it right. First Russia was going to buy controlling interest for 30 cents on the dollar with the understanding that they would invest 500 million in upgrading and build the southstream pipeline which would create thousands of jobs for Serbia.

Now Russia wants to buy for 30 cents on the dollar with Serbia investing their own 500 million for upgrades and no guarantee that there will ever be a pipeline. And Russia has made threats that there would be repercussions if the deal fell through.
And many in the govt still thinks that Russia is going to take care of Serbia?
