Leonida,
your views are exactly what the west is trying to achieve as far as Greeks are concerned.
They already own FYROM politically, so what they try to do is to convince Greeks that FYROMians are the bad guys and drag us to war, like they did just few years ago in Croatia,Bosnia and KOSMET.

Refueling this hatred leads us deeper to the trap.

I am astonished at how many of my countrymen fail to see the proven and the obvious.

Its time to show them that we are not their puppets.

Its not the Greeks that participate in the Slaughter of the Iraqi people, sending their soldiers to Afganistan without even required to do so as a non-NATO member, recognise Kosovo's UDI,participating in CIAs rendition programmes but only Fyrom. These actions alone show who is the puppet.
It is not the Greek premier that is invited to Bush's republican conferences but Gruevski. Therefore, your generalisation is not applicable to Greece.

Time is of no essence to Greece in the present dispute. In the case of Fyrom it will show whether it can survive in its present form.
BTW the latest i heard is that Greece won't consent in the EU visa liberisation scheme in the case of Fyrom.

I agree with you Leonidas but only the exact opposite: It's abuntantly clear that the present leadership of (Greece) ,blinded by rightwing nationalism, is not in a position to negotiate. Therefore, the present stalemate will remain in force for the forseeable future.

Milososki said that the two sides should keep working to find an acceptable solution through UN, something that would require political will.
Can Milososki explain as to how his country's application to ICJ ,under its constitutional name,to enter NATO & EU under the acronym, will solve the name dispute as it's stipulated by the UN interim agreement.
It's well known that Fyrom has been violating the spirit
of the interim agreement by refusing to negotiate and instead pursuing recognition by its constitutional name which is clearly forbiden.
In addition Gruevski &Milososki have been adding new issues ie ethnicity, language etc.

Pavle,
its not the slavomacedonian or the vardarian people the problem.
It is the western enforced leadership.
They try to create new enemies between small states, and with the case of FYROM and Greece they succeeded once again.

Its time to show them that we are not their puppets.

- Import products from whole Yugoslavia
- Export products to whole yugoslavia
- Lets work on our relations BY OWR own, and not by what others say to us to do...

Buying this anti-fyrom frenzy sells a lot in Greece but will hit us badly (the same holds for FYROM leadership)

3 - 5 years in international court? HAHA.. FYROM brought this upon themselves. Greece will not sit at the table and try to reach a solution while this laughable court case is pending. Alot could happen in 3-5 years, The minorities in FYROM could rise up and join their brothers in Albania, Kosovo and Bulgaria. FYROM will be cut to pieces.

How does really someone "wants to reach a compromise" and wants to "find a solution" with the other party when at the same time he is going to indict that other party to the ICJ??

Typical double talk from the far-right nationalistic goverment of Fyrom. "Pretend" that is negotiates with Greece, while on the same time, trying to do everything it can in order to jeopardise the negotiations by all means.

Fisrt it puts more and more new demands on the negotiation table that - in the 18 years of negotiations - have never been put before (demands of recognition of an "imaginary" identity and language, in a negotiation process that is being done in order to solve the problem with the name ONLY), and now they are going to indict to the International Court the country they suppose to negotiate and "want to find a solution with"!!

The depserate effort by the far-right VMRO to jeopardise the negotiations by all means and never find a solution is more than transparent. But they will change their stolen name of "macedonia" (that they have absolutely nothing to do with), no matter if they don't want it, or don't like it, or even trying to avoid it.
