NATO seeks closer ties with Serbia

So now you want to be friends, do you NATO?? Well first you have to send Wesley Clark to the Hague for war crimes, along with the rest of his 'humanitarian bomber' brigade.
Also, you need to pay for the billions of dollars and rebuild all the infrastructure in Serbia that was needlessly destroyed. Also, you need to rescind your recognition of the fake/illegal/immoral 'state' of Kosovo. Serbian soldiers need to be allowed back into Kosovo, as per the Kumanovo agreement. In addition, the NATO states will need to recognize Republika Srpska, which has every right to self determination and should not be forced to live in the fake state of Bosnia - which is a pipe dream that will never last anyway.
If they do all that, then maybe, maaaayyybeeeeee, Serbia will have you. Otherwise, Serbia will have a military alliance with Russia, our true friends and allies :)), not liars and hypocrites like NATO.

And as far as I know NATO haven't paid for any rebuilding in Serbia, finally after more than 3 years EU paid for the cleaning up of the bridges in Novi Sad, but not after the waterway to the Black Sea was untravelable for a couple of years.

The losses from Germany were to big when Danube was not travable.
I even remember when the Danube commision i Budapest said that Serbia should clean up the damaged bridges because it affects trade for everyone else in the region.

Then Milosevic said the only thing I support him 100% on, he said: We did not destroy the bridges, so why should we pay for the cleaning and rebuilding of them when others are complaining?

In the end EU gave some donations not to rebuild, but to remove the damaged bridges, but not NATO

You usually have good and balanced comments here, but this one is just pure junk. When did NATO send a check to Serbia for all the civilian and industrial infrastructure that was damaged during the 1999 aggressive NATO air war? Who did rebuild the bridges? American, UK, German, and so on companies? Or maybe Serbian companies? No matter what Serbia had to pay for something that they did not ask for. I do not see any reason to move on. First pay until the last penny, clean up the enriched uranium and promise to pay for any future health costs if people get sick, apologize to Serbia and all Serbs for people getting killed or injured (not to mention psychological stress and trauma) and for an endless smear campaign to demonize the Serbs, and start sending the political and NATO military leadership to The Hague to face international justice. I do not see Serbia NATO any time soon and hopefully never. I do not like to see Serbian blood being wasted to support all kinds of imperialistic wars that are being created in the name of "against terror" while in reality they are aimed to secure natural resources. If the west would be much less wasteful with natural resources there would be no need to invade countries, enslave innocent people, destroy authentic cultures, and try to dominate the world with an empty and meaningless culture that is unnatural and unsustainable. Maybe if we joined both the EU and NATO in the 90's all would be well but that not the case.
