Blero,
stop lying. K-Albaninans were and still are those that resorted to rapes, tortures and murders, and harvesting human organs.

And how do you expect to implement that?
More rape, torture and murder until you get your way?
(Peggy, 5 December 2008 01:44)

Peggy, it seems that you have mixed up the nations here.
Just a reminder: It is Serbia that resorted to rapes, tortures and murders.

And soon Serbia to must have Albanian language official same goes to other Balkan countries where Albanians are more than 5% there.

Not this time. You have become too big for your boots. Ever heard of give an inch and they will take a mile? That's you but people get sick of that. The Balkans cannot remain your playground forever.

to Peggy:

We don't need to go to Albania to speak our language, because Kosovo is Albania too.

Serbian language can not be never official language in Albania, because 0,0% Serbians are living there.

You and your people can deny our language rights with force same as you did before in Kosovo, but my friend that will not last long, because you can not deny forever the truth.

And soon Serbia to must have Albanian language official same goes to other Balkan countries where Albanians are more than 5% there.

It is unbelievable how people in this region hate each other. I guarantee these action will prevent both countries (Serbia and Kosovo) joining EU. It just seems that beautiful land of Balkans is filled with uncivilized people. Similar action will prevent Serbs and Albanians moving forward. UN and EU don’t want to solve the problem because they don’t want to see uncivilized people becoming powerful.

Peggy

Wow, the righteous Albanians have come out in force.
The article states that the attack was not rationally motivated yet you are sure it was.

Perhaps it was, but you have no proof of that yet. When Albanians attack Serbian children in schools it is excused very quickly and never ever condemned by you.
So you have no right to be all moral now either. You either denounce all attacks, which there are many more on Serbians than on Albanians or you don't say anything at all.

Also, I would love you to demand the right to your own language in America or Australia. You would be told that English is the only language officially used and you will have to speak it. What you speak at home is your own business.

So if you want to speak Albanian go to Albania. No country in the world would accept that you expect to be educated in your own language and refuse to learn the language of the country you live in.

Is Serbian accepted as an official language of Albania?

I partially agree with you.
If B92 would not put news about each stone throwing on Serb owned vehicles I would say the same as you did.
Few hooligans breaking somebody else’s properly.
However I have to say that this is one of the only times that Serb hooliganism in Kosovo is reported by B92.
If we are to judge each Albanian throwing stones as Serb cars why should we not judge Serbs doing the same to Albanian property?
Also as NikShala said, occurrences of Albanians in Mitrovica being attacked by Serbs (as the case of the secondary school girl) are almost never reported by B92.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that we “don’t cry as much as Serbs do”, therefore there is no point in reporting.
It is funny; every time something happens to a Serb in Kosovo it becomes political.
If the same thing happens to an Albanian it doesn’t.
Talk about double standards!!!
I wonder if Albanians would be the perpetrator of the act, what would the likes of Maggie and Jovan say????
Personally I would classify this act the same as I would classify it if Albanians were the perpetrators.
I just hope that B92 puts the same emphasis to the news when it happens from both sides.
One more note: I read the articles in Albanian and could not see the last sentence that b92 put forward (not ethnically motivated)!!!
Seven civilian vehicles with “KS” number plates, one UNMIK and 1 KPS vehicle attacked, and not ethnically motivated.
Can anybody think about any other motive, because I can’t?

bganon

I suppose to be principled we have to report on attacks by both 'sides'.

There is one thing to bear in mind though - one cannot believe and re-report everything 'local' media reports. For example in the case of the March riots of a few years ago I believe every single Kosovo Albanian media (forgive me if I'm wrong) reported attacks on Kosovo Albanian children as the reason for the riots. As we know this turned out not to be true. Kosovo Albanians have to be aware of these excesses, which despite any issues we have with B92, B92 has never gone that far in being co-opted into state propoganda. Note B92's coverage for example of Kosovo protests in Serbia, where they did not water down any problems, or hide anything.

Perhaps media standards in Kosovo have improved. If they have, I have no objection to re-reporting attacks on Albanians.

Both Serbs and Albanians must have a true picture of what is going on in Kosovo.

nikshala

Well, the cars that were attacked had "KS" plates which gives us an idea for the motive for this attack.

Just to add to the news, its also been reported to the police that an albanian female secondary school pupil was attacked by a group of serbs.

I have never seen the point of report minor attacks like the above, because all they do is give fuel to different sides, but since B92 is always keen on reporting on any incident involving 'attacks' on serbs, then its only fair that we give the full story of the other side.

Is this how Serbs want peace? Scenarios such as these will eventually take an end, be that by diplomatic means or by force, those who dont obey the law will be brought to justice. Go and attack civilian and police cars in Serbia, see how friendly MUP will respond.

So now we see the real face of Serbs in Mitrovica, they want to destroy everything that is not Serbian, they want ethnic Serbia there and no others to live in N.Mitrovica.

Just think if Albanians in Presheva would do the same think and destroy everything that is Serbian there, I just wonder what would be the Serbian Police and Army reaction, probably they would torture all Albanians there.

So we have Serbs in Kosovo that have all the rights more than any country in Europe, Serbian language is official language in Kosovo even they are only 6% in Kosovo.

I don't understand what more Serbs want, we gave them everything and they are not satisfied.

We forgive them for all the crimes that they did against Albanians at 99 and we say you are welcome in Kosovo with the law but they don't want.

Today in Kosovo Parliament Serbs can talk in they're language.

In other hands Albanians in Presheva and Macedonia don't have any rights.

Albanian language is not official in Serbia and Macedonia.

They are discriminated, and they are in prison if they want they're rights.

But still Albanians don't burn cars, schools and homes of non Albanians they are peaceful even they are discriminated in Presheva and Macedonia.

This is not fair, what is happening don't forget Albanians in Montenegro and Greece.

Today in Montenegro 10% of population is Albanian more than Serbs in Kosovo, and where are they're rights.

Today in Greece 20% of population is Albanian, where are they're rights, is Albanian language official NO!

See the truth people this is the reality you can not be good to one nation and destroy an other nation.
