Anti-EULEX protest in Priština

Only 3000 people. Not much for a 'save our country' protest.

Well, Kosovo is of course... not a country.

And why Albanians flags? I thought you were Kosovars? Why a flag of another country then?

Western media is starting to let it ALL hang out regarding Kosovo. Why such sudden shift in policy?

Obama? Germany? Organ harvesting?

The Albanians ruined it with March 04 and this situation with keeping the Serbs enclosed in barbwire enclaves. If you were civilised and treated the Serb minority right and respected the religious objects- heck I reckon Belgrade would have signed off on independence. That's bad karma.

1999 UN and NATO saved the day chased out the Serbian Forces because UCK was chased back into Albanina and Macedonia. Everyone was crying for help and after Serbia decide to leave everyone was UCK fighter even those who ran to Macedonia who were called Commandant of Blace by Ramush H at the time he was prime minister now the UN is not doing as Pristina wants and they want to kick them out. Who is next EULEX? Leave the 2 billion Euro but we don't want you here anymore. What a joke, pristina make up your mind a few days ago EULEX was good now we are protesting and the people are throwing Hashim and Fatmir under the bus because things are not going there way.

Please can you explain to us what is going on here - all your previous posts - EULEX is there to get supevised independence, is those couple thousands 95%, are you protesting for or against independence, Thachi and everybody else - whole world???

Or it's just realization that your dream is faking and results of hard landing - as Jovan said - you're getting message - being Duped again.

I think it's Hashim Tadic they should get rid off not EULEX.

I seem to recall that one of the earlier suggested agreements was a prohibition against Kosovo joining Albania. This just gets more interesting by the day..........

Ron, this is exactly what the west is now questioning as well. They see now how Albanians tried to have them duped. Give us independence. We promisse we won't merge with Albania and our goal is not Greater Albania.
We like everyone so that's why we keep our minorities behind barbed wire for their own protection. We would't want them to get hurt.
A healthy dose of stoning the primary school is just what is needed to keep Serbian children afraid of us and well behaved.
We are saving lives by selling Serbian organs to you guys in the west so you have to appreciate us.

All this sounds like a very good deal so we can't understand why the west isn't giving us unconditional support any longer.

Sorry K-Albanians, you were given a chance to show what you are made of and how you would govern but you failed. You really thought that the west is going to accept your word alone this time?

I would like to reply to your post by asking you why protests in Belgrade and north of Mitrovica against EULEX few months ago.
Also, you got it wrong when you say that EULEX is there to supervise the Independence. Eulex is not here to do that but another body.

I also dont see EULEX in north of Kosova at all functioning, so this entire story will go down the drain.
Norhti will be left to Serbian organsied crime with no owner for couple more years.

Nowone has ever said that after 17 Feb everything is finnishe, in fact thats when everything started. So difficulties nowdays are seen as challenges for Kosova state and society.
Todays protest told many that Kosovars are aginst some things are protest peacefully, dont burn Embassys etc like Serbs have done it few months back.

Serbian diplomacy is taking the same steps as Kosova few months ago. Does this mean that in few months time I will write to you the same thing haha.

have Serbs ever heard of good cop, bad cop? Albin Kurti is just one guy, people weren't bussed in or paid like Kostunica did. The politicians are not calling for demonstrations--yet. They will wait and see what EULEX does, then you might see 250,000 Albanians in the street. there are of course a lot of intelligent Albanians in our southern province that know very well what is going on... and that all this "independence"-nonsense is an illusion - just like the illyrian-myth - ..but they cannot say it openly since those who started the terror are still there, holding the albanian ( and unfortunately also the local serbian ) population hostages of their criminal project.

but it is still way too early for most of the other Albanians to realize that.

but Serbia has time, and UNSC 1244 is still the one and only binding factor...

DD, it would be a waste of time. The time has come when the real patriots will step out. Enter Ramush Haradinaj!

Albanians are not to be the sole authority in Kosovo.EULEX was designed to give minorities, as the Serbs,their rights in Kosovo.

If the people of Kosovo don't want EULEX, well that is their right! It would also be the EU's right to withdraw, so should the international community, RETRACT the recognition Kosovo, recognition of passports, declare their "ambassadors" also persona non grata and stop spending a signle euro cent on a people that obviously think that they can do it on their own.

Obviously the EU and US made a mistake with the recognition and went into a process unplanned, with the EUPT sipping coffee for 2 years, but also giving into threats by extremist, diaspora and fear of retaliation.

If the people of Kosovo don't want EULEX, well that is their right!
