"The 1995 operation drove close to 250,000 Croatian Serbs out of the country."

Eh, did someone NOT mention 'ethnic cleansing' does not this fit the definition as used by the ICTY or is ethnic cleansing only something that the 'bad' side does?

I expect such reporting in the western media, but by B92? Come on!

What about the witnesses coming forth at Gotovina's trial that are revising their initial statements from 1995, even 1993. Now stating they inflated death toll numbers or the severity and position of certain bombardments. Flimsy contradictory evidence sublimely acted out by the sketchy characters who take part in the theatre of the absurd known as the I.C.T.Y will inevitably be the cause for acquittal of gotovina and many others.

The Americans need to be held accountable regarding the Storm operation as well. They provided satellite imagery, air support and logistics to the Croats. Plus it was their green light that started the operation...Peter Galbraith needs to answer a few questions about the humanitarian catastrophe as well.

It's fairly obvious what's going on here. It's not the first time I have read about evidence (mysteriously) disappearing, especially when it comes to Croatian crimes. I will be very surprised if those criminals get convicted.

How can a NATO court convict the people that were working for them? They are all in it together, to remove incriminating evidence or people who threaten to expose those crimes.

We should all be very familiar with the purpose of this court and I'll be glad to see it closed in 2010. It's a real shame the sell-outs in Belgrade saw fit to feed Serbian heroes to the lions.

What I'm interested in is whether some of the evidence involved will make it to the Hague for the Gotovina trial.

At this rate (I have been following it) Gotovina will get off with a slap on the wrist and his accomplaces will get a few years for less serious charges.

I am completley convinced that the croats will get away with this. Just like the albanians got away with their war crimes against the serbs. Like always it's only the serbs who are responsible when it comes to dealing with the past. Both croats and albanians should realize that true peace will come when all war crimes have bean dealth with. Regardless who the vitcims are.
