'Roberto', with all due respect, what you said there was absolute rubbish. The fact of the matter is, its Pristina that should be sitting down with Belgrade to engage in meaningful dialogue and negotiations for the return of all people driven from their property, Albanians, Serbs, Roma, Gorani and Jews.

The sad thing is this so called 'Kosovo government' has no intention of doing that and views the remaining Serbs, Roma and Gorani population as a nuisance to be gotten rid of. The intractable and intransigent position of Pristina is not helping matters either. If anything it is the mafiosi in Pristina who should be treated as a rogue state not democratic and multicultural Serbia.

Your blatant Serbophobia is getting rather tiresome at this stage.

If Serbia has any real interest in helping the Serb citizens of Kosovo/a, then THEY need to sit down with the Kosovar govt, with respect and as equals, and try to work things out. but kosovo/a no longer belongs to them, that is an old movie whose time has come, and gone.

but if, as many of us suspect, they are just interested in keeping tensions up and partitioning, then they should be seen as a rogue govt, and treated accordingly.

thank you.

"No it will not. Serbia agreed to EULEX knowing that any 'guarantees' are meaningless and that EULEX is part of Ahtisaari. Why? Because EU said, No EULEX means no EU for Serbia. All EU has to do is hold tight
(Albanez, 24 November 2008 16:15) "

You forgot that EU itself has already declared Eulex to be status neutral just like UNMIK. And major EU countries are going along with the 6-point plan agreed by Belgrade and UN.

Kosovo had eagerly accepted the West as its foster parents. Well, your foster parents are starting to be irritated by your petulance. Just be careful they don't give you a good whack on the behind, cut your allowance etc etc!

When will this show end? When you look at the map of Kosovo you can distinguish the Serb part in the north and the Albanian side to the south. Lets move on to the 21st century folks. The Albanians had a great victory but now they are begging to irritate me where I have no more tolerance for them. Lets end this and move on, it's obvious that the Serbs of Kosovo do not want anything to do with this little Albanian controlled fiefdom and would rather stay with the prosperous state of Serbia.

And the Serb authorities continue to act like a old, scratched vinyl record: “unacceptable, unacceptable, unacceptable…”. The only thing they seem to accept is the impossible: Kosovo as a part of Serbia.

And the talk of “to provide for some kind of survival of Serbs in Kosovo” is mere disinformation and scare-talk, as if the Kosovars would kill all Serbians if a kind of “Republika Srpska” would not be created on the north of the Ibar River.

@2Predictor, the Serbs of Kosovo are already having a say through their legitimate government in Belgrade. What makes you think that Serbs in Kosovo want anything to do with Pristina?

Demi

pre 15 godina

You can reject how much you want. It will not help because no deals can be made without the albanians. It's not because we are so strong but it's because we live in Kosovo. If we don't respect Eulex then Eulex has no future in Kosovo. Does sombody in Serbia realise that ? IF the people of Kosovo dosen't work with Eulex then Eulex can't do nothing in Kosovo with 1800 men.

The Six-point plan is dead.

A little reminder for team Albania here. The 6 point plan is the compromise so there is no further discussion needed. That should be clear by now.

Belgrade holds the key to the legal deployment of the EU mission and it was negotiated on the basis that the mission is deployed throughout the entire province. Now Belgrade has provided its terms (6 points) for that requirement.

I'm not a fan of Tadic or the deployment of this mission but as you can see, negotiations are over. It is either accepted or not and I truly hope this mission is rejected by the EU and US.

I really don't understand why the Albanians thought they can negotiate on this matter? This is between the UN and Serbia and as we all know, the UN does not recognise or negotiate with illegal and immoral puppet entities. After all, Kosovo is a province of Serbia as far as the overwhelming majority of this world are concerned.

I hope everyone has learned something from all this. No deal can be made without the agreement of both the serbs and albanians. Both sides have to give up something to gain something. However, albanians think they can have the cake and eat it too. Well, it doesn't work that way. The north is lost to the albanians and albanian dominated areas in Kosovo are lost to the serbs. Carve it up and move on. And, NO, Presevo is not a province or a republic only a piece of land with both serbs and albanians living there, which means that no borders will be manufactured by force so it will not secceed and join Kosovo.

How can there be compromise with uck government? The terrorists who committed absolute crimes against Serbs (one of those being organ removal from alive civillians)- crimes for which noone was brought to justice.

Very good. The Kosovo government is commited to the Ahtisaari (an UN envoy) plan, thus there is no need for further interference by the UN.

This looks like playing tennis, but I wonder in whose side the ball is currently, or it is in the middle.
Apparently, the Kosova side is on the move now, but as there is nothing more to reject on both sides, I think that a compromise is, still, possible. The compromise would include Kosova Serbs actively attending and be included in the agreement, taking decisions for their fate, as; after all, it is all about them to be done, neither for K/Albanians nor for Belgrade! So, it is possible an agreement between, EU-UN-K/Serbians -K/Albanians, without engaging BG on all this, what would save BG government to stay in power as well as solve the confusion on EULEX mission.
