Serbia did everything to keep EULEX out of Kosova but without any success. I'm sure you know why but I'm gonna say it.

Once EULEX is deployed throughout Kosova then there is no resolution 1244.
Meaning UN has no jurisdiction there anymore and 1244 is dead in Kosova forever.

This might not sound good to you at all but we stick with reality.

To the ethnic Albanians in Serbia's UN regocnised province of Kosovo & Metohija who still fail to comprehend the state they are in - ask yourself why else are the EU asking Serbia to negotiate if they didnt need Serbia's consent in the UN for EULEX???

The fact remains the EU cannot and will not deploy a law enforcement mission in Serbia's UN recognised province if it (EULEX) itself has no legal mandate passd by the UN SC - this would place its representatives in an impossible legal position and they could not enforce in any way what so ever any matter they wished to on no part of Serbia's UN recognised territory - to do so would immediately create grounds for legal contention in any EU state participating.

Serbia negotiated with the EU and Ban Ki-Moon (UN Secretary General) agreed with the 6 points - its up to the likes of Sediju and Thaci to explain to those who don't like it but its clear which state they are in!!!

Oh what a tangled web EU weave...

Peggy is right Vuk!! UN resolution 1244 is very much intact so there is no need of a separate deal on EULEX deployment.

I hope that Tadic and you will not budge on the six point plan and be fooled again by the WEST.

"Belgrade will no longer negotiate the deployment of EULEX..." ABout time serbia decides to not interfere in other countries [KOSOSO] internal affairs. There may be peace in the valley after all.

Why does Jeremic always threaten violence?

A wise ancient philosopher once said, "the one to threaten violence first, is the weaker party and has already lost the 'battle, war, or negotiations."

Also, Jeremic is 'giving up' on shoving Ban's 6 point plan on the "organs" in Pristina tells us clearly that Jeremic has no hope of surviving the 'no confidence' vote to take place on Nov 28. How ironic!!

"We greatly appreciate the efforts of the international community to persuade the organs in Priština that the road of compromise is the only road forward that will enable peace and stability in the southern province.
Just to clarify a bit the matters that the "Road of compromise" according to Serbian dictionary means Serbian road/way.
We have heard the word "compromise" a lot by the Serbian delegation during the previous talks about Kosova status mediated by the UN Special envoy President Ahtisari. The Serbian "compromise" at that time was just to keep Kosova under Serbian sovereignity. Serbia even "offered" to Kosovar Albanians the greatest autonomy in the world in exchange of a "simple" request to call themselves Serbs. Who is saying here that the Serbs are not generous towards Albanians?)))))

Now we are talking business. This kind of attitude was desperately needed. I do not know if it will be helpful but at least the message is clear: we did what we had and could do and if you still do not like it you figure it out yourself and come back when you have something useful. If the EU shows the weakness that they are afraid the push the Albanians in Kosovo they will also show Serbia that they are weak and that there is no reason to be blackmailed anymore. Serbia realizes that EULEX still has to go through the UNSC (and so does the EU). The US and their Albanian "allies" seem to be the only ones who think differently (but who is surprised about that).

Vuk, instead of negotiating all these other deals why don't you just make sure that everyone sticks to the one already struck. Resolution 1244 is already there and states that Kosovo is within borders of Serbia. Why on earth do we need another agreement?

If everyone stuck to what we already have in place we wouldn't need to get new deals, but if you insist on pursuing EULEX then make sure you don't budge on the six point plan.

Don't make a farce of this like you guys made of expelling the ambassadors and then recalling them again. Make a decision and stick to it.

Looking at it from a Political point of view, I would say that Tadic is orchestrating the loss of Kosovo. Any intelligent mind will tell you that Kosovo will never be ruled by Serbia again.

Tadic and his party is aware of this and have used these moves to make it look like their trying to keep EULEX out.

They have just stated they wont fight against EULEX anymore.

Also Ill add, that not negotiating the Six point plan with Albanians was very hypocritical and inconsiderate.

In my view, this was a taste of how it was
during Milo.

Good move, Vuk! Stay tough and refuse EULEX. That phony plan will never pass, US just confirmed that:

"UN SC decision not necessary for EULEX...If we can reach an agreement, it would be good, and if we cannot, I believe that we all agree that it is important that EULEX be deployed,"

To Serbs, this is Jeremic's way of surrendering, he thought he checkmated the Albanians, but got locked out himself.

If Serbia doesn't trust EU they should ask to join. Asking UN for guarantees about EU is not trusting.
