The only rioting (destruction of personal property, persecution of others, threats, intimidation, etc...) have been coming from the ethnic Albanians. Remind me again who rioted against who in March 2004 for NO REASON WHATSOEVER over a lie, a stinking lie!!! When Serbs travel outside of their enclaves into Albanian dominated areas why is there always an escort for them, I never hear about escorts for Albanians.

There are little doubts that ethnic Albanians in Kosovo have upper hand in the last decade. I think that they should use this position right now to approach Serbian leadership and make a historical deal between Albanians and Serbs. If this does not happen future for the region is bleak.
I can understand the hawkish mood of Albanian Diaspora as they will not pay the price and they have secured their future outside of Kosovo.
One thing I know for sure that Prishtina will never sign any paper that is discussed with Belgrade. How can you discuss something with another country when we already know that Kosova is full respected independent country.
For EU and UN this plan is dead and those papers better get out of Kosova ASAP.

Things have changed of course, back then KLA was unorganized, had a few rusty AK and no training. Also, Albania (with plenty of hardware good for the Balkans) was told not to intervene. That no longer is the case (with TMK, KPS etc), but wars are over anyway.
Serbs using barbarian methods would have thrown us out, but you would have been bankrupt in a year as you would have had to keep tens of thousands of troops for ever as 2+ million angry Albanians would be attacking time and time and time again. Asking another country (like Serbia) for EULEX deployment to another recognized country, respectively the Republic of Kosova, is absolutely idiotic. The serbian initiative has not changed thanks to politics derived directly from Milosevic era. The reality is this - Kosova is Independent for all citizens and Serbia knows it! Serbia's aim, however, is to cause chaos and continue its destructive path while looking for the paved road towards the European Union!

Albanez, the 1991 census counted 350,255 non-Albanians in Kosovo. How many are in Kosovo now can only be estimated. 250,000 displaced is probably an over-estimate but don't forget the ethnicities other than Serbs. According to the CIA factbook Serbia has 206,000 refugees from Kosovo.
Logically Pristina shouldn't budge.. The EULEX supporting EU countries that recognized kosovo broke international law. It would make sense for them to support Pristina. But if they backstabbed the Serbs, it would be feasable that they backstab the albanians. Hopefully Pristina is forced to accept the 6point plan. I fully believe that jeremic and tadic are doing a great job preserving serbiak4 territorial integrity.

Things have changed of course, back then KLA was unorganized, had a few rusty AK and no training. Also, Albania (with plenty of hardware good for the Balkans) was told not to intervene. That no longer is the case (with TMK, KPS etc), but wars are over anyway.

The decision by the UN to deploy EULEX in the Republic of Kosova without consideration for the recognized Kosova Constitution would be absurd. Asking another country (like Serbia) for EULEX deployment to another recognized country, respectively the Republic of Kosova, is absolutely idiotic. The serbian initiative has not changed thanks to politics derived directly from Milosevic era. The reality is this - Kosova is Independent for all citizens and Serbia knows it! Serbia's aim, however, is to cause chaos and continue its destructive path while looking for the paved road towards the European Union!
This plan made between UN and Serbia was a dead plan long time ago. I don't even know who anybody could suggest such a plan. Everybody shuld know that the albanians are in charge in Kosovo. The serbs in the north ain't going to bark for a long time. They are becoming a threat to our national security and that is somthing that we cannot accept. Kosovos plan is to balence the population in the norh of Kosovo so the serbs will have nothing to say about Kosovo anymore. They will have to obey the law and pay taxes to the Vlada Kosovo. Ónce the Kosovo army comes into force the borders to Serbia will be closed. The serbs in Kosovo will have to make the choice whether they want to stay inside the border or outside of it.
Accept Kosovo independece if you want to live in Kosovo. Or else go to Serbia wich you reconize. Kosovo is no longer a prvince os Serbia. Just take a trip to Prishtina and find out for your self.

Let me remind you something you hate to hear: History for Serbs in Kosova started in the 13th century...some 2000 years after Albanians had been living there. The land is back to the indigenous people, not 'settlers.' Illyrians, Dacians, Thracias or a mix (most likely) Albanians are the autochtones, Serbs are not and you even admit it.
The EU /Kosova government has spent tens of millions of euros to repair Serbian houses, and Serbian Churches. Just ask Bishop Artemije who owns a construction company in Kosova and 3 apartments in Belgrade (per B92)

Do you people actually know what it is to pay taxes. Serbia and the rest of Yugoslavia have been doing that for your for too long and now the EU and US are doing it. We will not accept that. If it is not a province of Serbia and it is not an independent country (because it is not), then what is it? A EU or NATO colony? A maffia paradise? A second Albanian state? A province of a Greater Albania? An EU money pit? A breeding ground for future terrorists? A construction site for religious buildings financed from autocratic states in the Middle East? A source of unnecessary tension between power houses? A failed experiment of US and EU policies? A dream for some and a nightmare for others? Thaci is sounding more and more like a warmonger everyday - a good sign he's losing control of the situation. So he goes to Southern Mitrovica to do what? Beat the drums of war? He speaks of stolen houses across the River, yet I wonder what he has to say about 40,000 Serbs expelled from Pristina. I wonder what he has to say about Albanian mobs with an 18th century peasant mentality destroying Serb villages, and raising all churches to the ground and rewriting the history books to make it look like nothing ever existed there.
Thaci is a loose cannon who relies too much on US goodwill. It's my fervent hope the international community slaps an untimatum on his Instant Oatmeal government telling him it's either to accept the EULEX agreements made between all internationally recognized sovereign bodies, or get all financial aid pulled.
Besides, I have yet to see one solid reason why the Albanians want to lord over the Serb enclaves. Haven't they been the ones yelling for years that no one should lord over them, vox populi and all that? Now they want to effectively do what Milosevic did to them.

There are little doubts that ethnic Albanians in Kosovo have upper hand in the last decade. I think that they should use this position right now to approach Serbian leadership and make a historical deal between Albanians and Serbs. If this does not happen future for the region is bleak.
