Peggy; (New negotiatins)did you mean new negotiations? If yes then what about? I ask the question becouse if the negotiations are about the past you always remind as that we should not mention all the facts of the past. If the negotiations are about the future, well considering your outdated views there is not much to talk or nagotiate about. We as Albanians are quite happy to talk and listen to the United States of America,we can learn from them.President elect Obama has achived so much so far and i do not for one second think he has the WILL to undo what is right, and that is Kosovo independence. President(former) Clinton thinks so and so does President Bush. Hail to Obama and justice and god bless USA. Change will take time, but it will happen, perhaps in Serbia. I am just beeing an Albanian and i don't pretend otherwise.

Really Canadian?

I remember you explained us after February 17 why Macedonia would never recognize Kosovo and how sure you were. Not to speak about other your previsions.

Being the ICJ ruling consultative, it leaves to anyone the right to interpret it. Serbia could have had better chances choosing an ICJ ruling with binding decision; but it would have implied recognizing Kosovo as a state.

Dead end street either.

"Kosova will have Black as President before Serbia."

Who cares?

"Maybe Obama's son can be our President. "

What is with this blind USA worship?

Congratulations Obama, America's first Black President! Kosova will have Black as President before Serbia. Maybe Obama's son can be our President. God bless US, Kosova and Blacks!

Settle down Arsim. Barak only has daughters.

Obama has stated that he wants to pursue friendly relations between America, Russia and China. Where does that leave Kosovo? Safe for now, but eventually there will have to be new negotiatins. Obama has to meet Russia and China half way if he wants to better the relations. This is a perfect chance to abolish the ugly foreign policy left behind by Clinton and Bush.
Change will take time, but it will happen.

Don't count on Biden. He is not the president.

The most important question for both camps should be:

Who is going to be the new secretary of state? Keep in mind that the VP holds little power in the US. It’s the position of secretary of state that guides US foreign policy. Two names appear in mind. Richard Holbrook and Robert Gelbard. The latter called the KLA a terrorist organization and as result that almost ended his career during the Clinton administration. He was the chief advisor to Obama during the election campaign. Albanians should be very weary should he become the new secretary of state. Kosovo almost destroyed him. While I don’t think he can change the overall picture he could cause tremendous amount of grief to the Albanian side.

The greatest nation has made a clear choice. Obama will be a great president. Considering Kosovo the US-Kosovo relations will take the next step, beyond making Kosovo an independent country.
The people of Kosovo are also very thankful and full of respect for John Mc Cain and his wife Sandy. Kosovo loves you!

If the ICJ rules in Serbia's favor, those who think the America's position on Kosovo will not change, are fooling themselves dearly, as Obama wants to show the world that the new America respects International Law!
