Green Light For Republic of Kosova
US property magnate Donald Trump, yesterday won approval from the Kosovan Government for his controversial $1bn resort on Germia near Pristina, which includes two golf courses, 450-bedroom hotel and 950 holiday flats.
An estimated 6,000 jobs will be created, of which 1,400 will be local and permanent.

Rocky, though this will bring the most needed jobs in Kosovo I personally disagree with the project.
Germia is the only green part left in Prishtina.
Opening a hotel and having 950 holiday flats will destroy the “lungs” of Prishtina.
This will have a negative effect in the air quality of Prishtina which is quite bad as it is.
We need Germia park more than we need Hotels.
I am sorry to say but I hope this project grounds to a halt.
The development can be done in other parts of Kosovo where the air quality will not suffer to the extend it will in Prishtina.
In the times when the world is trying to have as many parks and green patches we are destroying our remaining green oases.
Also (something that is very important), this will give the green light to the “wild developments” that were attempted in the recent years in Germia.
We only have one park, are we ready to loose it?
I would say we cannot afford it.
Sorry MR. Trump, please build somewhere else.
