"Development of south is priority"

Chairman of the Coordinating Body for the South of Serbia Milan Marković says the priority of the organ’s future work is the region’s economic development.

Let's put it this way, up to now, little to nothing has been done to aid Presheva Valley of its economic/political woes. The auro of skepticism that's bothering you, is fully justified. Be it the Albanian minority, Serbs and/or Roma minority, citizens in that part of Serbia are all catching the same fire.

Though, unlike previous chairmen, I have to acknowledge that Markovic seems to be a bit more involved. I commend him and his advisers for that but I'm in that sort of position where an observation of this sort is easy to make. Try telling that to the family of 5 who live of 50 euros a month.

No albanian comments regarding this article. What a surprise. When Serbia does something good albanians are quiet and in denial. Albanians just wish they could be as just and domocratic as the serbs. Perhaps this is something kosovoalbanians can learn from and apply to minority relations in Kosovo.
