Not only for Albanians but for every nation it is reasonable to be pro-American.

That is a very positive sentement and I imagine that this person speaks from his heart, but i think it is niave to pretend that consecutive United States Presidencies have not trashed America's reputation

Re "Street of Presidents"
How cute! Once you run out of great historical names, after all America is not that old, do not hesitate to use some other ones, dear to the same presidents; say, Monika etc. etc. Then Bondika, Steelika...Natovka, Solanka, Heroinka... Sounds sooo proud! And why not, since
there were the names like Staljinka or Traktorka that you took pride in, all depending on political winds.

Regardless of what is said in the article, one thing that surprised me was the Kosova map posted in this article. I must say I was surprised a lot, and I commented it with my colleagues, but didn't come up with any conclusion.

Anyway, thnx B92 :).

P.S. Huge moral support for Barack Obama.

No matter who the next president may be, the US has oncemore shown how basic democracy and tolerance looks like. Let this be an example for the whole world. No doubt, people make mistakes but more important is to show courage to admit and change what went wrong. Not only for Albanians but for every nation it is reasonable to be pro-American. We, residents of a street of Ferizaj/REPUBLIK OF KOSOVO, have decided to name our kids after US-presidents. In our House there is three "Presidents" and one Eleanor (Roosevelt), more to come ;-) Welcome to the "Street of Presidents" with a huge Kindergarten on the haed.
