"Priština has no solution for north"

Pristina will never have any control in the North.
Partition is already steaming full-speed ahead. Defacto and Dejure all in one.

While it's obvious that north Kosovo will never be ruled by Pristina. Belgrade's efforts should focus on making the lives of the enclaves easier so that they remain loyal to Serbia. There are obvious logistical challenges in this but Serbs there do not nor will they ever consider themselves as "Kosovars." They will always be independent with parallel institutions. It is every Serbs duty to make their lives there as pleasant and normal as possible despite Albanian persecution, violence and ethnic cleansing, which is a daily occurrence.

the ex-bouncer and simple criminal, ceku is being declared non-serious, while the others of that criminal gang, like taci, "the snake" doesn´t have the guts to do what he was always boasting about...

it´s interesting to see how these simple criminals are starting to neutralize themselves...

first they will "lose" the north, which they actually never had - and later on, they will face much more serious problems.

there can be no partition of serbian territory.
but before they leave, they will grab as much money they can - at the expense of the average albanian population in the southern serbian province.

It's time the Albanian government in Pristina and their international financiers realize that the so-called "peace and stability" that they're trying to say will come about with an independent Kosovo will only manifest once Kosovo is given official administrative separation. What is it to an Albanian in Pristina or Djakovica what a Serb does in Mitrovica or Gracanica? What is it to municipal government in Suva Reka what happens to municipal government in Strpce? Albanian land grab can be just as delusional as Serb sometimes. I have a feeling that as long as Kosovo remains one entity, most European powers aren't going to care about the internal dynamics of the province. And more importantly, the more people like Thaci, Sejdiu, and Ceku waste in trying to control the enclaves, Strpce, Novo Brdo, and the north, the more time they'll miss devoting to actually improving the living conditions and qualities of life in the Albanian-dominant regions which they CAN control.

No solution for the 'North' is conceivable anytime in future that much is clear. It is a crazy situation legally. The Serbs who live in their country's province now snatched by another government that intends to govern them.
You can't expect anything normal to come out from such abnormal circumstances.
The unruly 'North' and Kosovo's compromised stability as a result of it will remain the price
of UDI until Kosovo status have reached a compromise.

I dont think EU or America would side with Albanians any more in their war tomorrow if they decided to snatch back Kosovska Mitrovica. And I presume it was said at the time to Rugova, and to sit silent there in Pristina and not deterorate their already critical situation.

Well as you can see the partition line is going to be the IBAR and there is nothing that will be done about it. Everyone has something and Serbia will agree and the EU will twist Pristina's Arm and there will be the peace. If not, NATO and UN will go fight somewhere else and we will have a repeat of 1999 but the US will not come to the rescue.

To those Serbs threatening a "repeat of 1999", let me tell you that your mighty Serbia is on a geographical, economical and political decline. Your influence and strength is not what you had and what you think you have. Did I forget to mention Albania is going to be a member of NATO- (increased military strength) and & milions of Albanians united in the EU stand a better chance at defending against Serb agression than individuals. Enough with your threats because NATO is with us and we are NATO.

Serbia's continuing to threaten regional peace and harmony must be addressed by the international community. Their refusal to co-operate in locating and extraditing all of their war criminals is proof that their Great Serbian ethnic cleansing campaign is still in effect. Only when they publicly admit their failed policy, returning all the victims from their mass graves, compensating war reparations and guarenteeing to never instigate violence on minorities ,can they even think of applying to gain EU and NATO. The burden of proof is on Serbia,first good start is by turing in Mladic.
