I believe a great number of Europeans will be very relieved to see the Czech Republic at the helm of the EU come January 1st. I feel President Klaus and his government might even strive to have the Republics of Serbia and Croatia join the EU simultaneously. It would be great also if the Czech government initiated a 'Balkan Truth Commission' to expose the 'real' facts of what happened to Yugoslavia and the antics of certain 'western' governments which brought such unnecessary human misery to so many in the Balkans.
