Kovačević documents arrive from U.S.

"The state public prosecutor sees the act of handing over the documentation on the Kovačević case as an act of trust on the part of the United States. He said that he would do his best to justify that trust."

The US really has no other options if they want to see the case prosecuted. But, it's nice that you think that way. :)

Mr. Kovacevic is a coward. He is accused of committing a crime and should be made to face a trial. His protection by the Serbian government only reinforces the idea here in America that Serbs are thugs.

Maybe if anti Serb sentiment wasn't so widespread in the US this man would have no problem being prosecuted in America. Do you honestly believe that he would've received a fair trial there?

Also, it's amazing how much publiciy this case must've gotten there. Hundreds of murders happen every day and you would have us belive that the whole of America is concentrating on a bashing?
How would all these Americans have heard about this case? Why is a case of bashing in all the headlines when there are many more serious crimes like rape and murder which don't hit the headlines all over Amrica?

Either the news hasn't reached all of America as you claim so there is no danger of Serbs being seen as thugs or it's in the news to that extent only to further their propaganda against the Serbs.
Whichever way, he won't get a fair trial there.
