Have dignity and be strong Serbia! Don't let US to drag you fully under their control.Isn't enough for you to be robed by US,bombed hospitals, bridges, schools? Now they want to pretend to be Serbia's friends!? What a shame! Soon they will ask for a new Bond Steel close to Belgrade... today's USA is not the USA from '30-'40ies!EU will be enough for you.You don't need a single american cent! It smells blood and oil...

"I mean the U.S., Serbia, and our European friends, believe that the most important thing is to ensure the stability of the Balkans and the general future of the people living in this region,” the ambassador underlined"

well, just recently I saw a documentary that I would recommend to everyone here:
"War made easy"

it shows how US-presidents were always talking about peace and democracy, but acted in total contradiction of their words...

the only difference here: Munter is no president. but he´s talking nonsense, actually.

by supporting a puppet entity on serbian territory does not serve regional stability, it´s quite the opposite - there will be trouble in the future - and the vasalls in Belgrade will not be forever in the service of the US and their "allies"...

Mr.Munter, you should study serbian history, and you will learn that we never give up. you´ve just made a mistake by supporting the albanian extremists...

Why is Serbia talking to Mr. Munter at all? There is no point. Nothing will change.

If Tadic thinks he can achieve anything with the present administration he is not too bright.
Differences ARE the barrier. What else could they be when there is no way that anything Serbia has to say will make a difference to the Americans.

Why not demonstrate firmly that Serbia is not a dog they can kick and it will come running again. Perhaps the new administration will respect that. If not, nothing is lost.

Unless, Tadic intends to give up Kosovo in the end he is wasting his time. They are slowly gaining control and once they are firmly in place nothing will detach then.

Serbia is NOT getting in EU without capitulation. That's obvious to all now. Why are they still buying time?

>>>> Why President Bush followed the game plan of the Clinton administration in regards to Serbia is beyond me.

You apparently dont; know history: Bush Sr gave Slobo a warning on Christmas eve 1992, move into Kosovo (as he was planning to do) and USA will attack. Google "Bush Christmas Warning Slobodan." Clinton said that the same policy was in effect. What Serbs did in Croatia and Bosnia and the many lies, didn't help Serbia with the USA.

>>>> To the Albanians, if you think the US are your friends you're sadly mistaken...they would sell you out in a minute. When they have no more use for you they will turn their back on you.

...and the Russians will sell you out when they don't need you. Welcome to international politics. In the end we can't rely on USA or anyone, that's why we want a state and EU so we can have our own armie/s. Luckily we're in Europe and the Balkans are vital to EU /NATO and USA by extension. This means that Russia has no place there. So far USA has helped us a lot, Russia has raised your gas prices and taken NIS almost for free.

US (snip) would sell you out in a minute. When they have no more use for you they will turn their back on you.
(Bryan, 31 October 2008 14:32)

Didn't the US drop Hungary in 1956 and Czechslovakia in 1968 like hot cake? The only use: after they turned their back, Hungarian and Czech/Slovak immigrants were allowed in (for a limited time, of course - because these Hungarians, Czechs/Slovaks are so numerous, they would just verrun the country).

But Radio Free Europe and Voice of America did cry bloody murder (literally) during 1956... It was cheap.

By the way, 1956. These "revolutionaries" did schedule to execute my entire family. The day of execution was already set. But it could not materialize because Soviets came. My granddad wasn't even a communist! All sin he had: being an ethnic minority number one - and number two, that his son was working in Moscow. As my aunt came to the school on Nov. 5, 1956 the kids asked her: "you are alive? You should be dead yesterday!"

Well, that was also part of the revolution... :(

Mr.Cameron Munter, reportedly repeats that USA support Serbia joining the EU. As far as I know, he is American and EU is not USA, therefore Mr. Munter has nothing to do wit the whole of the matter. Fortunatey there are differences between Serbia and USA, and EU and USA. Stressing repeatedly that those "differences" are not a barrier, Mr Munter wants to show in fact that he would like that there are no differences at all.Besides, one should sweap up first in front os his own door step and after, compare what is to be compared.

I am wondering whether Kosovo Albanians are taking part in American elections next Tuesday? According to what USA does for them, it looks like they are an American state in Europe!

Hello,

Cameron Munter's comment:

“It is an obligation to implement the rule of law and for it to become a part of the Kosovo institutions and, as I’ve already said, for the rights of everyone to be protected and recognized,” the ambassador said.

Where do I begin? If Mr. Munter only listened to what he said he never would have said this in the first place.

1) The US bullied its way into Kosovo and used Milosevic as an excuse to set up Camp Bonsteel in order to prepare its missle defense shield and to adversely position itself in order to maintain control over their interests in Europe.

2) Kosovo's Illegal (recognition by the US) Independance broke all rules of International Law.

3) Thaci, Ceku and Haradgina are all part of the KLA and the main reason why there is no rule of law in Kosovo. These men are all involved in the illegal sex, drug and organized crime rings.

4) Does everyone forget that the US branded the KLA as a terrorist organization but only lifted this band when the US entered Kosovo? This is an organization with direct ties to Osama Bin Laden. This was only done in order to save face with the rest of the world because how would it look to the rest of the world if the US were doing business with a terrorist organization.

Shame on the US and the rest of the world for doing this to the Serbian people. They have used the Media as a propaganda machine to spread its vicious lies about the Serbian people in order to meet their interests.

To the Albanians, if you think the US are your friends you're sadly mistaken...they would sell you out in a minute. When they have no more use for you they will turn their back on you.

"He said that Washington would continue to be Belgrade’s friend, regardless of which candidate won the U.S. presidential elections on November 4."

Munter, as a born and raised American I can honestly say Washington is no friend of Serbia, and it didn't start with the current administration. Why President Bush followed the game plan of the Clinton administration in regards to Serbia is beyond me. You are right on one part though, it will not change no matter who wins the election on November 4th.
