@George: Seems you MUST be from the USA, no clue about how to read and certainly no clue about dividing the truth from some inferior article in a newspaper. Thje article was written by John Laughland is a British historian and political scientist, Director of Studies at the Institute of Democracy and Cooperation in Paris. But his statement is not backed up at all by anyone. So that is your tgruth? Journalism has to be done with asking pro's and con's but this man just write something to make his points heard more stronger. But without any eveidence. Sorry, but with your so-called democratic behaviour, please stay in the USA and leave us (also me in the Netherlands) alone! And don't write here about lies in newspapers.

If UDI gets the approval of the ICJ, what is to stop North Kosovo declaring independence? The only way the K albs can stop this is with military intervention, brutal crackdown and expulsion of remaining Serbs. Are we to expect the law of the jungle to be given legitimacy by the ICJ?

Abi The ICJ is not a waste of everybody's time, the ICJ will rule on Kosovo’s side, Serbia knows that and Serbia just want a reason to recognize Kosovo’s Independence and save their face!!! Here is a quote from the Russian New paper RIA Novosti.

“The present Foreign Minister of Serbia, Vuk Jeremić, said recently in a private meeting with the US State Department officials responsible for Kosovo that his government's only problem was how to find a way of sugaring the bitter bill of Kosovo independence in such a way that Serbian public opinion could be convinced to swallow it.”
