I´d like to know what this man is dreaming at nights!

Serbia to respect "Kosovo´s decision"?

there is no decision, since there is no Kosovo,... it´s serbian territory, and perhaps he will only learn it, after he leaves his office...

but don´t be so naive to believe that Serbia will let it´s southern province go...

never.

so much for Rehn´s daydreaming.

Rehn is telling the people of Serbia to trade Kosovo for EU membership. Even if Serbia obtains candidate status in 2009 the road to EU membership will be long and difficult.

With their economy, name dispute, infrastructure in the toilet, industry in the toilet, corruption, election problems... and it's a single country in Europe which has ambivalent relations with ALL of it's neighbors.

FYROManiacs like gruevski will probably wait for a while - or get their act together sooner.

BTW: Croatia sudden speaks about 2012, not sooner.

IMO, the most important step is the Schengen White list because it gives freedom of movement, people won't feel to be confined within the borders and the shameful visa procedure will be over.

Once in White List (hope by end of 09), Serbs can wait and see about that EU do they really want it (my guess: yes) or not.

Like I said many times: this "white list" is not much, even Venezuela with Hugo Chavez is on the "white list". It's a shame this "white list" does not apply to the entire Europe as it is. Shows how incredibly stupid and short-sighted the Western politicians are.
