Fail to see how. The fact that the sign says 'Republic of Kosovo' in no way contradicts my position which is that the 'pseudo-state' is illegitimate. Are signs in Taiwan that say 'Republic of China'. Doubt if the chinese see it that way.

Was actually referring to the border post at Merdare that got demolished a while back, & by extension the accompanying sign ;)

Got nothing better to do than 'tilt at windmills'?

Enjoy your beer.

Thought that kindling on the border of Kosovo province said 'republic of Kosovo'?

Despite the likes of Ruecker & Rossin, am sure there are many more people in UNMIK whose only wish is to remain impartial & do a good job.

L*O*G*I*C:
Yes a ukrainian peacekeeper did die, & many more were injured.

And Galluci warned his superiors in pristina (Rossin at the time, although Ruecker was no doubt aware of the planned mission) not to use physical force to oust the protesting courtworkers on the 4th aniversary of the K-albanian pogrom against the minority serbs back in 2004.

Galluci said a raid in those circumstances was just about guaranteed to lead to violence. And that is precisely what happened.

So why do you appear to hold Galluci responsiple?

Ukrainian government held the UNMIK leadership in pristina responsible for the death of their peacekeeper. Would've thought a pro-western Ukraine wouldn't be blaming the pro-western UNMIK leadership - unless it thought the evidence against them was damning. Apparently you think otherwise.

Now why doesn't that surprise me oh 'l*o*g*i*c'.

Good luck in your new posting Mr Galluci.

I am surprised that how he was able to stay that long? But seriously; as a peacekeeper he did a good job.

One Ukranian died, he didn't "peacekeep" at all.

Mr Galluci,

Please Go Away as far as possible and never come back. We will never miss you and for sure you will be on the list of the most failed professionals that have worked in Kosova.
