Friendship between the U.S. and Serbian people is at a satisfactory level, but there is clearly discord between the 2 govts. over Kosovo, says Cameron Munter.

Here's a quote from a book that you may find useful:

"A mouse survives by being a mouse and a lion by being a lion..."

Obviously you must still be thinking that in the international arena Serbia is a lion.
Well, I got news for you... there are no lions in the Balkans...just mice with nasty temperaments.

Yet even a mean mouse is no match for a lion. Milosevic's experience should have been an obvious demonstration, but I guess some people simply refuse to learn.

Don't confuse politics with personal feelings.

I have met and hung out with a few Serbian folks before and we had a great time. But that does not mean that I should agree with the policies of your government as a result.

If Mr. Munter has such high regard for Serbia and Serbian people, why is he destroying Serbian people?

Like the Indians said when white man invaded. "White man speak with forked tongue".

Duh? You think? Why this man is allowed to travel outside his embassy is a mystery. Especially when, down the street, are two ruined buildings that were destroyed by american cruise missiles 9 years ago. His presence is the symbol of the Serbian government's surrender to imperial america.

as far as I am concerned, he is not welcome.

first, the US have to change their illegal policy of support for an illegal puppet entity on serbian territory.

THEN and only then we can talk .

the current serbian govt. is way to submissive.

If Ambassador Munter truely is a doctor of modern history, I would urge him to conduct a serious moral inventory of himself and his department.
What on earth was the US doing in interfering in the Balkans in the first place?
I can imagine the outrage if Serbia were to connive in the spanish speaking regions of the southern US as the Americans have done in Kosovo i Metohija.
Germany must be delighted to have had the US do its dirty work in the Balkans also.
I feel the US protrudes an arrogance that is not of this World. "May they live in interesting times".
