Vojvodina assembly adopts Statute

Well I hope it was worth it. To my brother's and sisiter's in Vojvodina I hope the day when you political leaders convince you that spliting from Serbia would be in your best interests, pays out in the end. But thats just wishful thinking! Our forefathers would be rolling in their graves if they knew what has become of Serbia. Our long history of protecting freedom and democracy has finally come to an end.....all due to greed and money. I am honestly very disappointed with our leaders. I guess our history hasnt thought us anything. Serbs were always known for as a nation that fought for freedom never for greed.

But I'm still hopeful, we all gotta have faith!

To any DS supporters here:

What is the bloody point in this?!?! Serbia is not some huge country like Canada, Russia or the US where provinces/states really are needed to help areas develop without having to go thought the central government.

All of this is just a huge waste of time and money. If Vovjvodina is a province then what are the other parts of Serbia? It can't be a state with a single province, even throwing Kosovo in there too wouldn't make sense.

This is just a continuation of Tito's destructive measures to keep Serbia weak by his beloved followers (DS/Socialists) shame shame shame.... today is truly a sad day for Serbia.

Serbia (Belgrade) is doing everything in it's power to keep Kosovo, which has a 95% albanian population and a province that is already lost. But it's doing nothing to keep Vojvodina, with a 65-70% serbian population within its borders. What is Tadic and co. doing?
