Americans to feature in EULEX

Time to rename this to "USLEX" and when they realise nothing is being done then USLES (useless) and when they get the boot then USLESS (US-less).

It all seems to fit nicely.

This is a very good news. American involvement will justly assist the Republic of Kosovo authorities to further strengthen peace, justice, democracy and human rights in Kosovo. This adds to further objectivity on the ground.

I like the idea and the decision taken today.

And what with all USA soldiers in the Bond Steel
Does it mean that USA will dismantle the "Bond Steel".

Or they will rename that fortification to "Bond STEAL" declaring it not to be part of Kosovo anymore?

When did America become a European country? If Russia did that they would be told to stop meddling.

Especially being waived from any sanction to offenses committed while on duty. That´s great! You have to remember that Serbia is in Europe, therefore Kosovo is inside Europe and the applied rules are different, as well as the way of thinking from the other side of the Atlantic. I hope any way that you would have a truly cooperation with the US personnel which might be deployed in Kosovo in the ned we all know the result of such cooperation. Thre are to many examples for yours to be different.

I do not agree with any US participation in EULEX mission in Pristina, as an American living in Belgrade,I've been a member of the Serbian Unity Congress for ten years and any and all International intervention is illegalL

Why really should I pay for someone to travel to Pristina on 1st class ticket and sample local food for few years on my expense?

I am not any worse than him but I take economy herring-class and we don't go out that often, maybe once a month.

Russia is not a world power, they are a local one, like Turkey. USA is Europe, it has been defending them against Russia since after WWII and EU needs USA.

America's credit rating is the best in the world. Did you notice the dollar rising as the world markets went in free fall (the US one included)? Why? Because American economy is still king and when in doubt, they trust America. Even Russia has invested in US Bonds. They might have to sell since Russia's (drill and sell) economy is toast though.


ZK, with US now, EULEX will move much faster. US doesn't play games! By December, 70 nations will have recognized the world's newest state.
