One has to conclude that Kurti's role is the tame extremist, the perceived threat of whom Thaci et al can use as leverage over the international authorities. Surely even Kurti doesn't believe that ""Kosova" would last 10 seconds without the international vicerealty and the funding it brings.

Nobody does anything for nothing, especially the US and GB.
They didn't pour all this money into Kosovo only to let you go. You are just a pawn in their game. How do you expect to expel them?
