It seems to me that Monetnegrins, Croats, Bosnians and Slovenes wanted noting to do with Serbia - so why would Albanians?

In America when your child grows up he leaves your house - you dont force him to live with you. Also, if you abuse and mis treat your child - they take him away from you. You can take anyone to court but you are not getting your kid back after all the bruises and evidence. Similar to what has happened to Kosova.

Here in America - we would take the parent to Court and jail him ... similar to what is happening to Serb leadership.

Life is simple - if you let it.

Oh Good God, here we go again.

Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Slovenia broke away from Yugoslavia (or in CG's case SCG) Serbia did not exist as a seperate political entity in 1991 or '92. It was called the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia so these states with the exception of CG broke away from the SRFJ which was the Yugoslav state not Serbia.

What the hell do angst abused and maltreated children have to do with your 'Kosova'. Leave them out of it. You are insulting the countless victims of physical and sexual abuse with your twisted analogy.

if anything it was the other way round.

After reading some history it seemed to me that generosity towards neighbours in the Balkans was never an idea that payed off. Especially not when you think of the Serbs. So I wouldn't be so sure that 80 percent of Montenegrian people
don't support the decision of Djukanovic government.

Most of them seem perfectly ready to 'go with the flow'.
It might be an illusion on the Serbian part that 'Montenegrian people are with us no matter what.'
It would be better to realize there is no such a thing as
a 'montenegrian brothers'- after what has been done.
Serbian government must impose some measures if they want to be taken at all seriously. I am sure though that while sounding moderate Jeremic & Tadic are diligently working on the possible measures addressing Djukanovic government .They simply can't let them get away with this without any consequences. Please be smart and take yourselves seriously!

I feel that Serbia wants to take on Montenegro by the back door through "dual citizenship" agreement. Montenegro watch! You are a small country. Serbia might do what Russia did in Abkhazia and Ossetia.

direct answer to Dan, comment no.1:

because the shameful "recognition" is opposed by 80 percent of the montenegrin population. even those who voted for independence of Montenegro, are clearly against any recogintion of this stillborn puppet entity.

and the montenegrin population cannot made responsible for the wrongdoings of a bunch of semi-democratic smugglers and war-profiteers...

time works for Serbia. you will see, Dan.

If 1 million Serb citizens would apply for Montenegrin citizenship, then the next Montenegrin government might be a serb one.

The EUUSA would never allow this! Its called puppet presidents!

It’s of most importance for Serbia to go on with this talks. Montenegrin people in Serbia should be able to vote in their country. That would tip the balance in favor of Serbs, so next government is can be Serbian.

"regime", "illegal move"? You do realize that Montenegro is a sovereign country with a democratically elected government right? Is every country that disagrees with Serbia "puppet regime of the US"? It's time Serbia take responsibility for its actions, realize that there are consequences for you actions, and move on.

It is important for this to continue so that the right of voting is respected for all the montenegrin citizens throughout the world. Djukanovic's regime probably banked on Serbia pulling this after their illegal move and it will be interesting how his govt proceed with this knowing that Serbia now has a morale upperhand amongst the montenegrin citizens.

The worst thing Djukanovic's regime could do is now block this important agreement that they themselves set a deadline to given it has immense social and economic benefits for its citizens in terms of healthcare, education, pensions etc etc... unless of course Djkanovic never really cared about his citizens well being!
