I think the Serbian government is beginning to realize that those eu snobs won't let Serbia into their club. The "NATO marine" appears to be deserting to the Russians. This is not so bad. If Serbia stays out of the eu, then the Serbian people won't have to help bail out those failed eu banks. If Serbia stays out of NATO, then Serb soldiers won't have to die for america in Afghanistan. Maybe Russia will base "defensive" missiles in Serbia?

Casey suggested that one place the Army may make cuts is by not updating some of its older equipment that was designed for Cold War conflicts. This is a quote from U.S. Secratary of Defense, Casey, regarding upcoming U.S. defense spending. I, as an ex-pat Serb, who is strongly in favor of Serbia maintaining soveigence over Kosovo, am happy to see that our (U.S.) military spending will dry up. It means that U.S. projects like in Kosovo, will take second, or less, place. I strongly believe that the U.S. will almost entirely pull out of the Balkans within the next 2 years. They simply will not be able to afford being there. Whether the EU will be able to afford being in Kosovo, remains to be seen. Look for major consessions to be made by the West in months to come.

"It was said that "Serbia can count on Russia's support in the efforts to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity using political and diplomatic means","

....until the NIS money runs out. Notice how they only offer diplomatic support after taking Nis for $1 billion less, not even a tanks for their 'brothers'
