What a lot of waffle from somebody that hasn't got a clue about the events taking place in US.What he is actually saying is that the banks are borrowing the taxpayers money ,lend back to taxpayers and carge them for the privelege.
The real reason behind the bailout is for banks to shore their own capital not to advance credit to business-as Bush asserts.
Throwing taxpayers monies to a black hole isn't going to help but just delay the inevitable.The Anglo-Saxon capitalist models practiced by the US & Britain is essentially bust because is structurally dependent on collossal amounts of debt which is not going to be paid ever.
